QUOTE(Drian @ Oct 22 2010, 11:50 AM) Hmm now I'm having 2nd thoughts on Latex matresses on a long term basis. Mind you it's a 4k matress, so it's a relativel high end matress. http://www.malaysiabrides.com/forum/index....showtopic=12803Do Latex matress have warranty against sagging ? Talking about warranty, I will share what's stated in my king koil maharaja warranty card: 1. During first year, if you find defect and want to claim it, KK will repair for you, but you will pay for transportation cost. 2. From 2nd year onwards, if you claim warranty, you will have to pay all transportation cost AND 10% of the repair cost on second year and ADD another 10% every subsequence year. That means in year 5, you will pay 40% of the repair cost. So when we thought we pay X amount of money and plan to sleep on it for 10 years without have to 1 more cent, we were dreaming.

At least maharaja is just 1.2k, the getha matresss is 4k ++. If they don't have warranty on such expensive matress, it just shows that their reliability is just equivalent to a 1.2k + matress.

My Maharaja just arrived... kinda stiff when it is still wrapped. Cant wait to unwrap and use it 2 weeks from now.
I don't think Maharaja will fail so fast, rite? I've been using older KingKoil and it is still working fine.
For those looking for cheaper pocketed spring mattress, there is Silentnight Cezanne at RM1.1k+ (furniture mall near Sg. Besi). Quality is not bad as well.

QUOTE(cbssb @ Oct 19 2010, 12:42 PM) Hi, am looking for a Dunlopillo mattres for my new house. I understand Macy is having promotion at 20% off from list price and you can top up RM10 to get the bed frame. I just not sure is it a very good buy, can someone who already doneĀ research to share on this? Meanwhile Tropicana City Mall also having Dunlopillo Sales from 16 Oct to 17 Nov, has anyone went there? Hows the deal? I would like to pay a visit but too tight up with house renovation. Added on October 19, 2010, 12:49 pmI think the Getha Nano X3 is standard promotion everywhere, Queen size RM2199 and king size RM2799 or RM2999 (not sure) with FOC 2 pillow. But I did called up Getha sales person to enquire about this promotion and I was told this bed is quite Ok but the inner latex is sort of less good quality type, that's why they offer it very cheap. Also I have tested the mattress and its a bit hard. Not too bad if you dont mind hard mattress and what sort of latex is it. I just ordered the Getha NanoX3 mattress Queen size at RM2000 with FOC 2 Getha Latex pillow + 1 Getha Latex Bolster. Not so sure about the quality yet but the 'on paper' spec seem good to me. ASP + Ag Nano Silver tech is another added bonus. I found some bad review on their warranty and reliability but seem latex mattress still got some upper hand compared to pocket spring mattress. Just my 2 cent ya. Initially i was about to get King Koil Maharaja or Residency XL. The cheapest i found was RM1400 for Maharaja and RM1900 for Residency XL. Both queen size. Somehow, someone told me the King Koil mattress can go really cheap because the seller could 'renew' the demo set fabric and sell it as a new mattress. Not so sure about this. Just sharing what i heard. This post has been edited by dRLurve: Oct 26 2010, 09:42 AM

So many stories about KK. Now I have different feelings already. But based on the stories, most of them are running on different models and those people are huge in sizes. I hope my small/light-weight sized body will make the Maharaja last longer. Let's see how it goes and I shall update KK owners here from time to time... LOL

Actually i think all matress are expected to sag.... just that whether matress manufacturers will honour their warranty if they do sag. If they don't why should i pay 4-5k premium for a matress when they're not even confident that they will honour the warranty.

before i bought king koil maharaja, im just try to get such info about it from internet, there has no article about maharaja KK, what give me the choice to buy maharaja is the feedback from customers in this forum. mostly all recommend to buy maharaja KK, so last year i bought that maharaja KK, at that time, the price is about RM1550 for queen size. This December almost one year im using it, it really great product, what im loving this mattress is becoz not too hard and not too soft, and maharaja KK dont have to turn every 3 month, just rotate it, this is usually you all need to do even u bought 30k mattress. Added on October 27, 2010, 5:51 pmQUOTE(dRLurve @ Oct 17 2010, 01:28 AM) Anyone here bought King Koil residency XL? Hi, looking at no reply from all the sifus, I have made my decision after testing and shopping at both places as stated at above. Finally I have confirmed with the Dunlopillo authorised dealer in Tropicana City, a King size full Tatalay latex mattress, come with full accecsories (latex pillows, bolster, protector, all Dunlopillo brand) and a Dunlopillo bed head+frame as well, bargain for more than 1.5 hours, got it all in at RM6,500.00. The mattres not too soft and too hard, feel so comfort when sleep on it, and the bed head is comfortable as well especially if you sit on mattress with back on bed head (watch TV or read book). Hope I made a right decision.
