do those 5-6k matress really make a difference? It's like 3X more the price of normal mattress.

QUOTE(werdna @ Oct 11 2010, 01:40 PM) I've tried it too last weekend during their road show. It's really nice. But not sure if it's worth that kind of investment. Looks like no one here could give any advice too. IMO ,it's quite a premium to pay for a matress alone. It's nearly 2.5X the price of a Maharaja.King size customised cost RM4988. Queen size customised cost RM3988. |

Hmm now I'm having 2nd thoughts on Latex matresses on a long term basis. Mind you it's a 4k matress, so it's a relativel high end matress.

QUOTE(ralyon @ Oct 24 2010, 12:12 AM) Talking about warranty, I will share what's stated in my king koil maharaja warranty card: At least maharaja is just 1.2k, the getha matresss is 4k ++. If they don't have warranty on such expensive matress, it just shows that their reliability is just equivalent to a 1.2k + matress.1. During first year, if you find defect and want to claim it, KK will repair for you, but you will pay for transportation cost. 2. From 2nd year onwards, if you claim warranty, you will have to pay all transportation cost AND 10% of the repair cost on second year and ADD another 10% every subsequence year. That means in year 5, you will pay 40% of the repair cost. So when we thought we pay X amount of money and plan to sleep on it for 10 years without have to 1 more cent, we were dreaming. |

Actually i think all matress are expected to sag.... just that whether matress manufacturers will honour their warranty if they do sag. If they don't why should i pay 4-5k premium for a matress when they're not even confident that they will honour the warranty.

Freebies englander pillow and matress protector- RM2.5k Roughly same price and spec as king koil maharaja.Very comfortable and good backbone support as tested- The item is yet to be delivered to my new house.. anyone using this now? |

QUOTE(young_ciku @ Dec 13 2010, 10:42 AM) Added on December 13, 2010, 10:50 am I have the same experience yesterday. I mean I ask la...why your newspaper ad say got this this this but dont have everything in it also. she said oh all out of stock. so got new launch of bed also so have to focus on those. Advertise in the newspaper damn cheap and then when you drive to their shop , they say no more stock or perhaps only for the first 2 units this price. It forces you to visit and attract you to their store. Very very common in KL. So next time, don't put much expectation on the price. QUOTE(iamsobloodysick @ May 20 2019, 09:20 PM) Hi, can you recommend me a good queen size mattress for rental unit(renting out full furnished).Cannot be too cheap, the last time I got a cheap one it "sinked" after 1-2 years. Cannot be too expensive, cause I'm renting out and need ROI. Apartment unit is catered for upper middle class. FYI , for my own personal use I am using king koil maharaja for 8 years now and I'm happy with it. Just wondering whether there is a budget friendly, good quality for rental unit that doesn't sink. |
