QUOTE(@lowyat @ Sep 16 2010, 09:21 PM) just bought 1 queen size for rm650 inclusive of delivery. if u bargain hard and ask a few mor shops, maybe can get rm600 Wow, good price. The best I've scouted so far is RM800. I want to know the store name too. So far, I trust King Koil (melaka house) more than my current Fibrelux (KL room). Now going back to King Koil due to its reasonable price and quality (the price u pay for). This post has been edited by RayKazansky: Sep 17 2010, 11:08 AM |

QUOTE(e_k1117 @ Sep 20 2010, 08:27 PM) Duta? Not at current range i think. Or if it is not old model, it could be renamed by large furniture mall like Cavenzi. They do re-label the King Koils to their own model names... |

Guys, I tested SilentNight Armaria mattres at one of the outlets.
IMO, felt so much better (comfort and support) than King Koil of the same range. Listed around RM1.1k and it suits my weight (skinny). Anybody knows the best price for this mattress? I am looking for small bedding/furniture shop around PJ for lower price. Thnx This post has been edited by RayKazansky: Oct 1 2010, 03:05 PM |

Is pocket spring mattress with latex padding (like Maharaja) good for spine support and comfort?

QUOTE(simplicio @ Oct 7 2010, 07:41 PM) Dear Friends... You can be right and also wrong... (no bashing needed... I wanna share something wif you guys... Recently i also wanna buy MAHARAJA king size but after some detail checks apparently those who bought cheap maharaja, you don't wanna hear this. King Koil does...this called "homebrand" thing for their dealer who able to purchase bulk maharaja from them. In order to make price cheaper they separetly custom this for the dealers. So i am sure quality may defer because you can see some get really cheap price while others don't even budge because its a hot cake. Just like Tesco or Carrefour..they have homebrands for coffee, soap , etc. I felt cheated and even its a genuine MAHARAJA i also won't touch because i don't know whether its a "homebrand" or not. So i decided to go slumberland with no homebrand nonsense. this are from my personal experience...good day and good luck. No offense to those who chooses King koil it my 2 cents view. So i share...!! Feel free to bash me..!! One example of "homebrand" is when you go to Cavenzi outlet and you can see some of the mattresses there are actually King Koil but labelled as Cavenzi logo. Try and see. I would call it OEM rather than the so called home-brand. If you visit the SilentNight UK website, there was also someone from Msia asking about the Model name which cannot be found at their website but SilentNight did clarify. That guy must be curious to know whether the same company producing home-brand items. Link as below... SilentNight Q&A Now only I know that our country able to produce reasonably priced & good mattresses Maybe someone else can bash me now... LOL p/s: Even Napure is being produced here. Check Post #482 and I believe they are not fake, but they are being manufactured here due to our latex quality. |

QUOTE(lousycar @ Oct 15 2010, 11:54 AM) I bought maharaja... and i am liking it till now, it is not what others say, if you have not slept on it and experience it, you are not qualified to talk about it. Hearsay is a part of marketing tool.. so, i still prefer to hear from those who has bought and slept on the mattresses. Not meant to bash or be rude to any one who is making any contribution here. Just my honest 2 cents.. You are right. After I tested Maharaja, and looking at the price being offered, I took it happily over SilentNight. Just like what Maxguy said earlier, mattresses are very personal. Just feel good with what you buy/own. |

My Maharaja just arrived... kinda stiff when it is still wrapped. Cant wait to unwrap and use it 2 weeks from now.
I don't think Maharaja will fail so fast, rite? I've been using older KingKoil and it is still working fine. For those looking for cheaper pocketed spring mattress, there is Silentnight Cezanne at RM1.1k+ (furniture mall near Sg. Besi). Quality is not bad as well. |

So many stories about KK. Now I have different feelings already.
But based on the stories, most of them are running on different models and those people are huge in sizes. I hope my small/light-weight sized body will make the Maharaja last longer. Let's see how it goes and I shall update KK owners here from time to time... LOL |

QUOTE(lostasylum @ Oct 27 2010, 04:04 PM) Since the price is only RM1.2k and not RM4xxx... do not make yourself so worry. I even hear many other stories about other brands.End of the day, it is what you feel satisfied with. I have three more KK mattresses at hometown and they are still good after 5 years. Just my experience. |

QUOTE(art6969 @ Oct 27 2010, 05:45 PM) before i bought king koil maharaja, im just try to get such info about it from internet, there has no article about maharaja KK, what give me the choice to buy maharaja is the feedback from customers in this forum. mostly all recommend to buy maharaja KK, so last year i bought that maharaja KK, at that time, the price is about RM1550 for queen size. This December almost one year im using it, it really great product, what im loving this mattress is becoz not too hard and not too soft, and maharaja KK dont have to turn every 3 month, just rotate it, this is usually you all need to do even u bought 30k mattress. Thanks for sharing your experience art6969. Added on October 27, 2010, 5:51 pm residency XL is my first choice but it little pricey, and im just take maharaja |

QUOTE(art6969 @ Oct 29 2010, 12:24 PM) waaa now im really proud bought maharaja, after saw alot of forumer here interested on that mattress compare other products I would say, the comfort, the material quality and the price... for me is worth it. As long as you don't abuse the mattress like doing rough activity @ night... sure good enough to last long time. |

QUOTE(ben83 @ Nov 8 2010, 10:36 AM) It is only RM 2.1k, that's what makes me took up the offer... but for the features, I wondered how true the sales talk are Most sales person will have their target to clear some stocks that are difficult to push to customers. So, they will do some promo and bring up all the advantages the product has and make customer move towards the recommended item.Example... I had this experience before in one of the electrical shops in SS2. I walked into the big shop asking for Toshiba LCD TV. The sales guy keeps on pushing so much on Sharp Aquos LCD and always mention the bad story about Toshiba and I already know he was talking crap. I walked off straight away as I know what I actually want. Soon, I found out that they get more rebates (their next purchase from supplier) from Sharp if they manage to push the items out in certain target quantity. You guys can think about it... |
