Last time I had a MBF card but had to cancel it because so hard to pay. I don't like to que at CIMB. But a few months back it seems MBF has started opening their own outlets. This means they are listening to customers and trying to improve their service. Good for them.

MBF card is supported by Ambank. if you ask for credit limit normally Ambank the one who decide whether you can get extra limit or not

They r manage by different credit commitee and management. Comfirm with both CS.
I hold both MBF and Ambank cards.
Ask before for CL increase from both, Ambank manage to increased but MBF denied.

I'm slightly skeptical about this info. Confirm MBF CL comes (and approved by) AMBank. They used to control everything until only recently where MBF is able to assign (and control) of the CL they assigned to one of their product line.

Frankly I have tried both product from both banks and I do not have a good impression. Hopefully MBF's World Mastercard product is of worth both from the CS standpoint and product package. I'm curious what are their offering coz no official info exist yet.

i don't get exact double CL too on my first card. It was like extra 80% of my salary only lolz


Btw, MBB Visa wave don't give any treatpoint right ? Now I notice it doesn't appear !
For my mastercard, the treatpoint seem does not apply for cash withdrawal

now apply Public Bank credit card online can get rm50 credited to the account upon approval, anyone is going to apply one?

Citibank hardly offer second card for their existing cardmembers nowadays.
For the last few years,they r very aggressive offering second card when their cardmember which hold only 1 card from them membership reach 1 year.
Anyone got idea on this?????

I think PB will offer U a CC if U put some $ in their bank; invest in one of their products or perhaps just take up a car loan or bank loan from them

Most friends of mine who holds PB CC's were given their CCs based on their existing bank loan. Mom's been banking with PB for ages but she's never bothered requesting for a CC so am not quite sure how the procedure is.

Credit card Newbie here,

I still dont know when should I use my credit card. Just one question here guys. If i use it at shop like Seven Eleven, Mc Donald, KFC, Petrol Station and Cinema, let say the price for my cigar is RM 6.80, is it the actual amount i must pay if i using my credit card? Dont have any HIDDEN or Extra charge meh? Just afraid Rm 6.80 will hike to something I cant afford.

If U pay up when the bill comes U just pay the actual amount of RM6.80. If U don't then the amount will continue to hike (think of interest rates) until U make full payment.

Most of the time is actual amount. Some merchant do charge additional 2~3%

Yeah but when merchants do that, they will usually inform the customer.

hurrmmm... how about 24 hours outlet like Seven Eleven? do they apply merchant charge?

CS will of course not be aware as its a computerised process, thus you will need to set off the alarm bells for the top guns to notice you. Trust me, the invitation will be forthcoming. And that's what makes it so exclusive, the hard to obtain factor. More so for collectors

Do understand, you can't compared them to Maybank as even in M'sia, MBB is the standard for how things could always be done better
