I won't be surprised if you're still waiting; you should have been given a DHL shipping number via email - in which u just need to click on that link and it'll automatically redirect you to the tracking page.

mine is posted using singapore...something2 (4got the name haha)

anyway i managed to talk to them n they said my delivery does not have a tracking number (does this makes sense to u guys?). anyway they'll try to send another copy to me, but it'll ship on monday n i should get it before 25th. well2 juz have to wait~

give apple a call or email to request a copy of invoice. souldn't be a problem for them to mail u an invoice.

It could be that it's not being couriered off hence no tracking number. Ah well.... just haf to wait lah; who knows? U might even get 2 SL discs

No problemos - I guess I'll just have to keep an eye open for those who's going to be purchasing a Mac via the Online Apple Store and beg them

Having said that, I don't think U should worry about the item not being shipped out yet; it would take about 24hrs before it can be ready for shipping and it's oredi the weekend so my advise is to just sit and wait and it should arrive some time early next week

May I know , why many of u prefer purchase Macbook from Apple Online store ? I found that the price from both Online Store and Machines or Maccity is same but Machines and Maccity are giving away some more free gift or offer .

Given a choice I would prefer to get it directly from an Apple Reseller; that way at least should anything happen, I have a local contact I can go to. However, the one benefit of the Online Apple Store is that it has an Education Discount for students/faculty members.

That's the main reason Y I opted to purchase from the Online Store. I figured the cash rebate I obtained was much better than the freebies being offered by the Apple Resellers.

if u r a student or fac. staff, then u get educational price from online purcahse..... machine,mac city and etc does not offer educational price...

yup , and you get discount on apple care too if you purchase from apple store under education discount

After careful thoughts and consideration, and reading all post made here, I made an order for a MBP from Apple store yesterday's afternoon, and made payment using my Tunemoney's debit card. When i checked with Tunemoney, Apple Singapore already deducted the payment from the card. So I guess my question to all the helpful gentleman (or girl) here is:

1. When is the estimated shipping time (which stated on the store within 24 hours) since i made my order on Friday noon (is it going to be on Sat or Monday) since I didn't receive any e-mail from Apple (even the confirmation one)?

2. Since this is my first payment to Apple, are they going to ask on Monday for my card statement to be faxed to them since they already take the payment from my card? and how to produce the statement since this is debit card, not credit card.

Some forummers have received calls from Apple requesting CC information verification; I was one of the lucky ones who wasn't called.

Shipping date would mean the date the shipment leaves the Apple warehouse. From my past experience, after it's left the warehouse, it will be delivered to the logistic company's facility for processing, then it'll be send to Malaysia and upon clearance of M'sian customs (which normally will take 24hrs) it'll be passed on to the delivery courier.

The entire process, if fast will take approximately 3 days. If you're lucky you may get your parcel/shipment on Monday or Tuesday

Not only that, Maybank seems to bar the CC thinking it is an unauthorised transaction. Maybank then approves the transaction and lifted the 'barring' in 5 minutes. Next time for purchases online, it will be better to call the CC card center alerting them of the intended purchases.

Apple sends out confirmation of shipping almost immediately thereafter. Ordered 13" MBP with education plan. It also includes parents buying for the children who is in University now, even though it is for my own use, no confirmation ratification required.

maybank called me for verification but appple hasnt not shipped yet and I have yet receive confimation =/ ... maybe its friday +_+ dam I need it by next friday ...

Purchase mine on 8th. Left from China Factory on 11th. Expected to arrive by 17th.

Apple sends your e-invoice once your order has been shipped.
