Let's stop announcing to the world our DHL tracking details and when it's delivered to us? It seems to clutter the thread and will make it difficult for other forummers to browse through this thread for information/answers

looked around but seem to get good answers for this question :

where do we go to if there's something wrong with the stuff we bought from apple store? premium resellers?

you can either call up their apple store phone number for support or visit any of the service centered listed on their website.

According to tinkelbell, SL is not pre installed. But they provide a drop-off SL disc that you can install yourselves.

Yes U can go to any of the APRs or go straight to VR Technology which is also a Service Centre

That's right - at least for mine. I however do have a feeling the newer ones will be shipped directly with SL. Maybe by early October *shrugs* but as long as the SL disc is there, anything goes

if i using my maybank debit card to buy somethings from apple store,i need to call maybank to activate my acc?

*just try to using,but it fail...

maybe your account does not have enough money ? .. it should work like credit card . just that the payment is instant.

i didnt call maybank to active anything using my maybank CC

my bank acc enuf money...i'm using debit card

Thanks for the reply. I was going to ask more questions to u but yesterday afternoon apple called me for my verification. then later in late evening apple confirmed my order, put my status tu "Prepared for Shipment". and just now the item shipped! quite fast respond by Apple.

So for those who use debit card, instead of faxing bank statement, i just faxed online transaction history (since im using Tunemoney, which technically is not a bank) and utility bill. basically apple just want to confirm the shipment address.

btw maybank debit card can already be used online? i thought they still not enable their debit card for online transaction?

bro..first you need to enroll your Maybankard Visa Debit in Maybankard Secure Online Shopping (MSOS) programme through Maybank2u.com then check ur spending limit...

may i know where to cheack my spending limit?

finally!

After my mbp is shipped from singapore yesterday, the package is arrived at Subang this morning at 6a.m, and by 9am the tracker status changed to "With delivery courier". So I called DHL hotline at 9.00am and want to find out exact time they will deliver the thing. and here is the respond:

"Sir, the van now is having an accident, and im afraid the delivery would be delayed".

Shocked me to death! the woman on the hotline said i can refund the thing if the package affected with the accident bla bla bla everything, but she already ruined my morning (of course i also concerned with the safety of the van's driver also).

suddenly,

11.30am: there's a bell in my office said there's a package for me. the mbp is here! and i asked the delivery guy about the accident. he is like "huh? mana u tau?". i told him about my conversation with the hotline girl (is she hot, i wonder?). he said "mana ada! itu tipu punya perempuan, i baru keluar dari office jam 9 tadi mana eksiden".

anyway....

im now officially entering the mac cult, and looking forward to convert my work into 100% mac based.

wow... this is the 3rd time i purchase from Apple Online Store, i purchased 2 engraved ipod nano on behalf of my friend, on last saturday, and it shipped from China yesterday, and got to my hand on today... the fastest delivery yet... straight from China Foxconn factory to here within 24 hours... i was shocked when the DHL guy arrived at my office...

yup in KL... last time i purchase SL also took 2 days to reach after they pickup the shipment... this time was really fast...

i ordered online but apple cancelled my order? i didn't get email from them... previously i cancelled my order because wanna change 13" 2.26 to 2.53.
i just checked my order status, it says there cancelled?
