Do you guys think I can purchase on Apple Store using my Maybank Debit card? I hope I could because I could even verify my card on paypal.

Oh, I'm so going to own a MAC for the first time! rclxm9.gif

Purchase mine on 8th. Left from China Factory on 11th. Expected to arrive by 17th.

Apple sends your e-invoice once your order has been shipped.

OMg ? ordered on 8th  ... only got it on 17th ???? tats too long man !!! I need it by 18th +_+ ............. I think i really need to call them to  speed up delivery time

Yea it is. That's what Apple has stated in the email. DHL Tracking says the following message since yesterday. I'm not sure whether DHL guys work on weekends or not. Probably no.

So I'm hoping to receive it on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Once your order has been shipped, its being handled by DHL so I don't think Apple could do nothing.

Did you customize your system as well?

no I did not customize ...  just default 13" 2.53 ghz.

zzz im wondering should I just cancel it -.- ... i will be in deep shit if it arrives after 18th as I will be in UK that time LOL
.......following your progress, if i order on 11/9 and they confirm on 14/9 ... there  might be probability that it will be arriving after 18th +_+~.~ ... god can i pay additional money to speed the delivery time +_+

Added on September 12, 2009, 3:03 pmBtw when you ordered on 8th, what is the estimated delivery time ? ...
mine is Delivers by: 15/09/2009 - 18/09/2009  i dont think they can make it though +_+ huh ?

Added on September 12, 2009, 3:13 pmalso why yours came from china ? did you add anything ?  .... I tot mbp should come from singapore .

If you order the default set then it should be faster than us. For me, I upgraded the HDD and the remote control so its coming from the factory in China.

In the order acknowledgment email (which came after I placed the order on 8th), the expected deliver date is 15-17. Then in the shipment notification email which came to me on 11th, it says "delivers by: 17/09/09".

Hi guys,

Is it ok to order directly from sales person from Apple online? I was thinking this way should be faster compare to place the order through online Apple Store website since I have the sales person extension number and have been talking to her few times. Anyone has experienced directly deal with sales person from Apple Store?

Thanks.

You gonna have to wire transfer the money thru bank which would cause some delays. Better opt for online purchase.

In this case, it should be safe to reach our doorstep. Saw it in youtube, mostly are US. Didn't know that over here also have the same delivery box wrapping.  thumbup.gif

If we order from Online Apple Store Malaysia, where is the good sending from? KL?

Thanks.

If you choose the base unit without any customization, it will be coming from warehouses from Singapore. Customized units will be coming from the factory, Shanghai, China.

Oh is it? I thought I can just give her my credit card number and she will proceed the same like online purchase. She is the one pick up my phone when I call 1800-xx-xxxx for enquiry.

BTW, will the Macbook delivery to our doorstep in good condition? I asked before, she said the courier service could be TnT or DHL. Don't want to receive the Macbook box in dented condition.  tongue.gif

MBP will be warped in two boxes. The brown outer cover and the whitey macbook box itself in the inside. Don't worry, your baby is safe inside there biggrin.gif
