yes.. any brand usb pendrive or external hdd can be used smile.gif

im waiting for a better offer than RM499 as it's not so affordable.. some1 quicklk bulk this or im getting my fren to buy from sg laugh.gif

leenux.....sorry but another nob question here...the HD output does it apply to a normal TV with no HD features such CRT TV? What about connection do it use SGVA or HDMI connection?

IINM, the player allows u to use either composite or hdmi video output. composite (yellow, red, white) for non-HD tv and HDMI for HD tvs.

i checked some screens in the youtube to have a look at the menu system.. but no idea if it handles folders well or not. the movie files all appear as big thumbpreview icons unsure.gif

IMO, WDTV is reasonable priced. HDX1000 has other feature like networking, can add internal HDD etc...that is why HDX is more expensive.
