normal streamyx can sustain 150-160kB/sec
3.5G maxis can sustain 200-250kB/sec

of coz if u use P2P (like bit torrent) then your milage may vary.. smile.gif

1~2 hours for how movies how many Gbs?  it is those 700mb x264 files or those 4gb above files?

Anyway, rapidshare now got limit of 2.6gb  cry.gif  hope they will increase soon...I've used up my Trafficshares and points for extended downloads

this is just a dvd rip into mkv movie....350MB files. More than sufficient for me to watch latest movie without breaking my bank for buying cinema tickets.....

a bluray mkv is good too but too much time wasted waiting...

how can you say HD quality is wasting time? lol...then buying 1080 capable screens are also wasting time. if you are just a typical guy that can watch whatever quality stuff, it's fine. but you cant say waiting for higher quality = wasting time. cos other than blu ray rips, the quality is just shitty. plus some good movies deserve a HD treatment.
*
then i just a normal people watch in whatever quality...lol relax la bro.... smile.gif

FYI i also have some HD-DVD-DTS rip avi movie for my fav. movie. only my fav. movie....and i'm still keeping it till now...

it can be a waste of time if you compare with actually just go and buy a copy of the movie off the shelf.....most of the time even ordering from amazon is faster than waiting for a 40GB files to complete.
*
I could agree more....buying the original is the way for movie lovers specially for your fav. title. A pure genuine movie lover...plus can be sell back if stop quitting with this hobby....

pirate wan arr if you want to main2 then delete can la...IMHO biggrin.gif
