QUOTE(gabanyayaya @ Nov 21 2008, 08:47 PM) leenux.....sorry but another nob question here...the HD output does it apply to a normal TV with no HD features such CRT TV? What about connection do it use SGVA or HDMI connection? IINM, the player allows u to use either composite or hdmi video output. composite (yellow, red, white) for non-HD tv and HDMI for HD tvs.i checked some screens in the youtube to have a look at the menu system.. but no idea if it handles folders well or not. the movie files all appear as big thumbpreview icons |

QUOTE(coolguy_mahen @ Jan 11 2009, 03:02 PM) Quick question for WD TV HD Player Owners. quick undetailed answer.. no, u cannot copy across usb 1. Since there are 2 USB ports, can i connect an ext. hdd and then connect a usb thumbdrive and then copy files from the thumbdrive to the hdd? For me, if this works, it'll be compensating for the lack of wifi adapter. I plan to put this WD TV and an 1TB 3.5 ext.hdd permanently beside the tv, and occasionally adding content through usb disk. So can it copy as mentioned above? fingers crossed..... |

I updated to .08 and no problem so far. One noticable different is some of my MKV anime audio is now supported (previous showed UNSUPPORTED AUDIO 1).
