I saw a product from local company.
Quite the same, with 1TB WD HDD (500MB x 2), with HDMI output but not support audio. Coaxial & Optical audio output.
Provide more than 1000 movies/concerts in HD format.
Could be in load new titles every 3 month (Charges)

I tried it's picture quality mostly in 720 Res, according there said with DTS-HD MA & DD True-HD, but I find that only got DTS & Dolby Digital only.
Quality can't compete with Blu-Ray, just better than DVD slightly, but convenience.

Well, I guess WDTV is still the best value for money for features, presentations and performance. I won't go for anything else other than rebuilding my HTPC later. DVICO is great, is just that the pricetag really a big let down.

hmm.gif Currently there are many "mediabox retailers" doing this business. I guess this is the new trend of video/media piracy. sweat.gif

do they give you the movie (i.e. full up your 1TB HDD) when you buy the product?

I have tried out mine HDMI 1.3 cable.

This is the thing I found out:

1. Connected the HDMI direct to my LCD TV.
Results: Only stereo sound, no sound if the audio is digital format, ie; DTS.

2. Connected HDMI to AV Receiver with HDMI in and HDMI out from AV receiver to LCD TV.
Result: Both stereo and digital sound.

So the HDMI is with Video and Audio depends on your setup and audio file format.

Hey guys, thanx for the info.

Very good to know that the HDMI cable actually carries digital sound info as well ... to date, I only thought that only the Optical Out have it ...

Next thing to check is the quality comparison between DTS via HDMI and Optical ... anybody have both and can comment?
