I personally havent tried this pellets.. But a lot of owners here i think would prefer hagen pellets. Hagen pellets are not so expensive too compared to others.

i have read the 1st page quite a bit but not seemed to pick up much differences in terms of caring a rabbit vs a guinea pig......... for example, both physically look diff of coz, but other than dat, nails gotta b clipped, gotta groom them, feed them pellets n hay, herbivous n give them vit c....

can any experienced owner here shed some light?

I kept rabbit before. The key differences are:-

Rabbit does not required high vitamin C at all time. GP does.
Male rabbit bites - 90% GP doesn't.

LIMIE feed this brand, if I'm not mistaken.

This brand is quite expensive as compared to Hagen. But I don't know why it doesn't have the green freshness smell like Hagen pellets have.

Last time I wanted to buy this brand when I read the marketing text on the net. Sound very good and nutritious. After I had seen the real pellets, I'm not convinced it is any better than Hagen pellets with its higher price.

Hi All, I feed my GPs with this brand since day 1 until now. Recently they changed the packing in2 a blk box. Well, price was increased (fr 21+ --> 25+) & net weight (fr 850g --> 800g??) as well rclxub.gif
I still got mine lastime, now a bit pricey 4 tis brand hmm.gif

Bt it was a quality food, u cn smell the herb by urself when open it. Every morning, i open the food container, they wil wheek out loud & cnt wait 2 rush out fr cage... stuck their little head in2 the container & start eating doh.gif

Abt hagen pellet, it was a staple food 4 gp rite? coz it ez 2 find, feed, cn chew properly coz it bigger size.
Price oso damn reasonable icon_rolleyes.gif I feed them as their dinner or I was away for long time.

Nv feed them with those hamster like food, inside all low quality seed, grains... I got brought a small pack 4 my hamster lastime. Guess wat, my hammies dun even like it at all. Bt since brought it cnt b wasted, so I mixed with other brands rolleyes.gif

Animal was smart, they can tell u which which was gd or not.
Fresh vege cn b feed daily bt small portion was enuf aledi. They Superb love it!!! 1 minutes cn finished all~ drool.gif

You can feed Pandan Leaf.

I put my GPs inside my garden for a short while, they chewed up all my Pandan Leaf until botak.  Definitely you can't grow inside the cage, it will never get any opportunity to grow at all. biggrin.gif

yeah, your right...GP eating a lot laugh.gif for sure the tree can't grow up at all laugh.gif laugh.gif
thanks for the info

Xiao mai chao I think is wheat grass is it, Wheat germ is not xiao mai chao. Wheat germ will promote good digestive, you can also give bee pollen.

Yes, wheat grass. biggrin.gif Very easy to grow, but make sure you grow in good soil, and monitor the mold. The mold will get your GP sick. Use winter wheat grain. If you just want to make it for fun, get a tiny pot, fill with good soil, within 7 days, you can harvest your first wheat grass for you self and your pet. smile.gif
