(caught it at yesterday preview)
Skyfall is excellent, storywise. With Sam Mendes at the helm, you'll see Bond like you never seen before. As in the movie synopsis, Bond's loyalty to M was tested.
The whole MI6 was caught flat footed when they didn't know or understand the enemy. Javier Bardem (Raoul Silva) was excellent. Though i guess to many peoples opinion maybe not equal heath ledger posthumous oscar performance, or maybe unfair to judge simply because TDK came first. Still, taking that aside, Bardem was still excellent. Notable mention too that has been her best 'M' portrayal to date is Judi Drench. Outstanding female cast, well i won't say the other female cast were just mere eye candy but little bite compared to Judi's role. Take nothing away of Berenice Marlohe (Severine), Naomie Harris (Eve) performances, 'M' is female lead!
Some traditional stuff associated with Bond movies are implied, not in your face. There were of some return of familiar Bond's props, the iconic Aston Martin DB5 (ejector button is still there. seen, not used

), Bond's favourite walther PPK/S. Macallan 12 (or 18?) Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky, and Bond says "a waste of a fine scotch" or something like that.

The familiar surreal sexy movie intro, little muted on the sexiness but miles better then QOS & CR's. The Aston Martin DB5, oh i did i not mention already? The DB5 gets to strut her blazing guns.
The new Q (Ben Whishaw), gets more airtime then any previous Q. We'll also see some familiar old faces will pass on, probably new ones will continue their mettle in the next Bond instalments, so a few surprises to be revealed.
Happy 50th anniversary, Bond!Long live bond, James Bond

ps. Only the very best Bonds (actor) got to drive the DB5 in Bond movies. Can you name them all?
