but i've never got my gps functioned
cuz i dont know how...

Something odd
I used to set my gmail using the auto setting methods.
It connects and downloads the folders etc but messages are not showing.
Anyone encounter this?
Whats the fix?

anyway.. if u know wher r u heading, forget the GPS...
when u take the wrong turn, u will go NUTS when the GPS keep tellin u to u-turn u-turn n u-turn and start all over again..

kinda useful leh gps...
especially when u go travelling n hv no idea of point of interest.
try install and play play with it la...dun waste that function ma...hehe

i know gps is damn cool,
but the thing is that i dont know how to operate the thing,
tried to install last time, but failed.
so i gave up

since i have Omnia i dont need to depend on my wife as navigator anymore..
before this she alwaz complaint bcoz I selalu lupa jalan mana mau pegi... haha..
my memory is bad already..

anyway, by using latest firmware, GPS Lock is much more faster
no need to edit the registry..

installation part i guess no problem la,
but then we need to modified abit the file rite?
and then load the map,
change settings all i dont know la...
hahahaha...
damn it...

anyway, the geotag has nothing to do with the type of navigation software that we use right?

how exactly you switch on the gps when using the camera? mine, the gps icon on the camera is there. but does not turns to green

same here..push email works..but apparently will show those messages that you have in inbox..but messages that you move to any customize folder will not show up..I have yet to find a solution to this..i guess maybe need to fine tune the setting..

Just to share... One of the method to play RMVB in OMNIA/other PPC...


Extract all the files from rm.rar

Copy
RVDecoderFilter.dll
RealParserFilter.dll
RADecoderFilter.dll
amc_video_renderer.ax

Into PPC's c:\Windows

Copy rmvb.reg into any folder of your PPC and apply it.


Then ur PPC is ready for RMVB files.. Tried it on my phone, works great... not as lag as before, not lag even in fullscreen.

hmmmm how big is ur RMVB file??? lol i tried copy an episode of drama into it which is around 300MB, it lags consistently give it under not fullscreen and fullscreen also

having problem with my omnia, after i turn it off by press the power button once, i cant turn it back on by pressing the power button again, i have to reset the device only can work...currently using latest official hk3 firmware, any ideas what could be the problem?

juz finishd running "Behind Enemy Lines 3 : Columbia", 514MB, 1hr 33minutes. smooth & nice for both window mode & fullscreen.
but i did notice a 0.5-1second delay for video(happens in most large file). maybe coz codec problem or didnt resize gua... lag due to heavy processing loads.
bu tested with WaltDisney's "Presto", 23.8MB, 5minutes 15seconds. no delay, nice, smooth.

thanx it work quite well in my phone...tried a 600mb movie n just got a very slight bit of jerkiness while playing...otherwise its sounds n looks good...

so far this is the best method i've ever tried.
