need help here, my Omnia can't receive files from other phones, tried my Nokia E65, SE K810i.. Before/After add device also can't, but no problem connecting/receiving file from PC. Anyone have idea what happened to my phone?
Firmware : J1, just hard formatted. same as new...

for additional.. could detect n connect to my i-Tech Mini Clip II, but no matter how many times i click "set as handsfree".. still cannot use it as handsfree, even during phone, also cannot select the "Turn handsfree on".... HELP!!!

This is be able to help you. Check on Trick "#18 Mapping 2 soft keys on Today Screen". there are also dozens of tricks n tips there. Including silent out photo taking.

Problem solved d, in the Start>Setting>Connections>Beam... didnt check "receive all incoming....."
after check the selection box now can receive d...

the bluetooth is ok, using wf my NK E65 all the while.. resetted the handsfree n paired wf Omnia, can add but cannot activate it's handsfree function.. mad.gif headache...

anyone know how to set the camera brightness setting not to be auto/balance? cause i know how to change registry for ISO to "save previous setting", but can't find any registry to set the "brightness"...

Just to share... One of the method to play RMVB in OMNIA/other PPC...


Extract all the files from rm.rar

Copy
RVDecoderFilter.dll
RealParserFilter.dll
RADecoderFilter.dll
amc_video_renderer.ax

Into PPC's c:\Windows

Copy rmvb.reg into any folder of your PPC and apply it.


Then ur PPC is ready for RMVB files.. icon_rolleyes.gif Tried it on my phone, works great... not as lag as before, not lag even in fullscreen.

juz finishd running "Behind Enemy Lines 3 : Columbia", 514MB, 1hr 33minutes. smooth & nice for both window mode & fullscreen.
but i did notice a 0.5-1second delay for video(happens in most large file). maybe coz codec problem or didnt resize gua... lag due to heavy processing loads.
bu tested with WaltDisney's "Presto", 23.8MB, 5minutes 15seconds. no delay, nice, smooth.

have to use "registry editor" or explorer wf registry editory function to apply it, e.g. Resco Explorer, etc etc.

of course there are orriginal accessories available. just went to Samsung Service Plaza(beside Federal Highway) this afternoon. they have travel charger & batter for OMNIA but not selling In-Car Charger. they said in-car can get @ any Samsung Ori(FMG) Stores.

Battery = RM188, forgot to ask for travel charger.

Hardware Baud Rate: 9600

with this set of setting should do a good job in GMXT, so far have no problem with it & fast lock with satelites (normally within 2-5 minutes)...
