i don't think got AP set for omnia.
FMG omnia means anythg spoilt u can claim warranty at samsung service centre here in malaysia.
SG set means anythg wrong u bring back to S'pore for warranty claiming purposes.

yes u need a receipt for it to show that it's not a stolen item!!!
u can lose the warranty card but never the receipt!!

receipt is more essential bro,receipt will indicate the shop's name.
that fits the same purpose as dealer's stamp.
the reason they wanted the warranty card is to know that the unit is not a stolen unit,not because of the date.
as a matter of fact,most SG shops left the purchase date blank just to amuse u buyers..samsung SG has become smarter these days,since too many shops left the purchase date column date unfilled.they will ask for receipt on top of the warranty card.
with the receipt as a proof of purchase,claiming warranty is easy as the receipt will write have your phone IMEI on it as well.

rm2850 and rm2550 is normal for fmg set.
12 months warranty is given now...say bye bye to 18 months...

from what i read,omnia gps don't work indoor.
btw,i'm using serial gps,com4

sometimes it's not connected to EDGE,it's just showing that u are under EDGE coverage,nothing to worry of.
regarding com3,4,9, could someone enlighten us?

i suppose if add in step by step guide on how to update rom will be nice..i suppose many don't understand about the modem driver thg.for eg. does vista requires modem driver??etc..
and possibly some reviews on the roms individually.u can refer to touch diamond thread started by baronic....super chun...
