guys ... help me out on bel0w statement on chery MPV from http://www.cheryalado.com/ website..

there is a standard ( rm 79,888 ) and premium ( rm 86,888 )
all this while a read this forum this MPV come with dual airbad, EBD + ABS and steering wheele audio control. Did Standard one come with all stuff ? because i saw it a standard items....
Where can i have a test drive of this MPV nerby Puchong area ? Is it PJ HQ ?

please refer ...go to website check the price list ....premium see carefully .....even the brochure state the diff you have to pay for premium spec.....u can test drive at IOI puchong or Seremban dealer....

already checked the car at dealer... too bad can't test drive..

the car look so much better than looking at picture.. i skeptic about the 2nd row a/c blower thou. i thought when u say below.. its like grand livina. i didn't expect it to be there.. doesn't seem it can reach 3rd row.

still consider to buy but the possibility for me to purchase one kinda slim because there's a big diff road tax price for vehicle under 2.0 and above 2.0.

there's a dealer opposite IOI mall
visited them but din test drive

ya... overall feature wise the car seems to be a steal
but still a bit skeptical and considering rondo is around the same price tag as well as cheaper roadtax

Added on November 9, 2008, 11:24 pmGuys...additional info ...the salegirl at PJ said that even there is a price diff, between standard and premium , because of now days this MPV is still under promotion ( below 1000 units sold), so they giving premium spec with standard price !! later on after the promo ends..the price of this MPV could rise up to 90K !!!..
So guys...whoever have not place an order..do so quickly ...

Well, this MPV gives 450km for only RM100 according to few owners here. And the torgue is 198Nm@3000rpm, very powerful. With good turning radius, very easy handling. So the nice FC + powerful ride should be worth the extra few hundred a year (less than RM40 a month).

Also, Chery Eastar MPV has Steptronic Transmission, Dual Air Bags, ABS, EBD, CD + MP3 player with USB, Dual Tone Horn, Beautiful LED Rear Lights & etc.


See my testimony before I booked it, I test drove it twice, once just me & salesman and second with my whole family (6 adults, 1 kid).

Mind you, I've tested Avanza, Livina and Rush before but none can match Chery Eastar power (due to it's Mitsubishi 4G64 2.4L engine) and space (very roomy, last row quite ok). The sleek look is just a bonus for me.

Interest is between 3.42% and 3.88% depending on banks. Talk and check with the salesman.

18 inch ......second hand can get abt RM 1500 but the tyre drive me crazy .......baru one nearly RM 400 above to RM 800 a piece.....fuuuhhhh

Now all the Eastar comes with Roof-rack which is cost RM500 extra.

The Non Roof-rack version is sold out at the moment.

So the new price for Chery Eastar MPV
Standard - RM80,388 (OTR)
Premium - RM87,388 (OTR)
