Have you rearrange your setup? Saw your posting on the Onkyo. The Audyysey seems like being erased off hmm.gif . You need to do it again.

Not feeling quite well. Have to see doc later sad.gif

Welcome to the club. I'm pretty sure its worth the investment as many others do.

Just to share, placement of the svs sub is very crucial. I've just moved my pc12+ to the back of my listening position and

wow, bass can be felt not heard. The only set back is that I have to find quite a long cable abt 35'. Any of sifu here can guide

me where to find it.

Bro, your living area has too many openings for a normal room. So, kind of difficult for any other subs too. That's why a lot of ppl do sub crawl. Then again, the location might not be a nice one and probably sticking out like a sore thumb for HM sweat.gif

Agreed. There are too many openings la. cannot do anything. So right now the pc is hidden at the back. WAF also crucial but with the new resting place, HM no bising anymore. Well actually I've just shifted the main listening area to the living room near the sliding door which was small then the previous(dining hall). Anyway any recommendation for the sub cable e.g monoprice cable?

p/s : Whitesnake have stock?

Thank you maja.

Yeah placement is important. Unfortunately, i dun have a dedicate ht room. So, not much choice, it's either the left corner or adjacent to wall. Wifey will go bonkers if our huge bin is parked some where in the middle of the living room ahahahahah!!

Get the svs woofer cable from htkaki lar .. he has the standard 3m length. For 35feet, maybe he has the roll supply to customise one for u.

Cheers.

Same la bro. With that thing parked in front, its overshadowed my main + tv. that why i have to moved it. Besides corner will not yield the best sound result for the sub after doing some crawling.

Already have the 3m svs sub cable. what I'm doing now is connecting it with my extra rca cable using the adapter. will asked him if he can customized it for me.

Thanks.

That is why in my 'review on svs pc sub' I suggest u stick some wording eg 'Good Luck Cum' in Chinese or maybe 'Mary X-mas' or put a big flower pot on ur svs pc mah. tongue.gif

This way it will not look like 'lack sac tang' loh! biggrin.gif And for sure ur HM will approve wan & say u r a good boy..........so why not buy another svs pc? Good things cum in two! icon_idea.gif

ahahahaha ... aesthetic wise, i prefer and do like the svs cylinder very much. it has a very gheng "phallus" presence in the room. arranging it to the corner is not much of an issue due to its small footprint. and it's different from the box woofers .. ahahaha

Added on November 4, 2009, 1:03 amoh u shud try u571 with yr svs woofer .. spectacular .... ahahahahaha!!!!

For those who loves LFE or bassnuts, the TF2 : ROTF BD is a good mat to test out the sub.

I wonder what is the lowest Hz in that bombing sequence at abt 2:10:00 whereby the air force dropped JDAM bombs. The pressure is immense, the bass is powerful, fast and tight. Crazy stuff! That's at -20dB.

When I am free, I will tuned Ultra down to 10Hz to try that sequence again and FR to you all.

I remember that was the scence which most sub would hit its limit.

Is it? hmm.gif IMHO, the 13-Ultra is barely struggling with it. Still can go louder with enough power. Problem is my room couldn't take it.

Must invite ar188 over to give comment whistling.gif

Aiseh.... only 19Hz ah? whistling.gif tongue.gif 12-Plus already hitting 16Hz with ample oomph. Bass quality is very good too. I thought you have a 12-NSD? Coz its in-room response for mid-sized spaces can dive down to 17hz.

Erm, my apology is I did poison you.
