hard disk price is in downfall right now or thanks to Samsung aggressive pricing, just saw Samsung 750gb 7200rpm at RM155
250GB - WD Blue RM120 320GB - WD Blue RM130 500GB - WD Blue RM140

Is it possible to setup raid 0 with my motherboard asus p5ql pro? I didn't find any raid option in the bios.

Hi all.. i'm planning to buy Ext Hard Disk with price around RM300 and capacity 500GB. i want to use it for keeping my movie collection, song, software etc Do suggest which brand is okay  what is difference between the hard disk brand and what i must consider the most...  thanx for ur help

TRANSCEND USB3.0 atleast transfer faster.. reaching 90MB/s instead 40MB/s like usb 2.0

You will need a motherboard capable of supporting USB 3.0 for that to happen, but I would still buy a USB 3.0 external hard disk because it is a great future proofing buy.

I predict next wave of hard disk price reduction is coming. eg. 1TB about RM200.
