Seems normal to me. But then again I don't trust HDTach. HDTune is more accurate.

I plan to get a internal harddisk for my desktop.
Purpose mainly for photo storage. Any recomendation from you all? For info, i am just using a Pentium 4 now. Motherboard support sata, but not sure about sata 2 or any more advance technology. |

to be honest, after using black, i dont think there is a huge difference. yes, its a lil faster but i think it wont be significant and not to mention is hotter.

but black comes with 5 years warranty,while the others oni 3,maybe im paranoid but it does give me more peace of mind

I'm using WD green.For me the performance is just as good as normal HD.But it run cooler than other HD.
I thought WD Green also comes with 5 years of warranty? |

can u guys recommend me some decent harddisk? budget around rm300( izzit too much for 500gb? im really outdated. Last time i saw 500gb price around rm320. Forgot which era

u can go for seagate 7200.12 or wd caviar blue,both is the most common on the market.if u wan sumthg diff can try samsung,they received good reviews
