morning~~ woke up late for work today.. sighh kk my weekend bd review:

spent my whole weekend watching WEEDS Season 1, 2, 3

PQ: s01e01= awesome pq with very vibrant colors. the rest of the episode in s01 was pretty bad pq... s02-s03 had good pq. kinda hell to calibrate as i have no idea how the picture was supposed to be colored.. so i just made everything goldy..

AQ: 7.1 ALL THE WAY.. haha surround not so nice.. but all of s01-s02-s03 has lots of songs playing.. so.. 7.1 HD music is dialogues are Very clear.. no complaints basically

story: cant believe its as good as it was... wasnt expecting it to be.. That good.. recommended~

extra: the extras in the bds is quite nice too.. deleted scenes.. extra production vids.. and more.. hehe

Iron Man Bulk Update (VPost)



From my experience, it will arrive on Wednesday the 8th October.

This is considered fast because I subscribe to Amazon Prime.

Amazon to Vpost 2 days - Arrived 1st October
Vpost USA to VPost Singapore 5 days - Arrived today 6th October
Vpost Singapore to Malaysia - Usually 2 days, should arrive on the 8th.

Shipping cost is SGD 40.00 around RM 100. Real amount havent appear on my statement. So each BD cost only RM 10 for 8 days shipping. IF do more (15 BD's for example) might be less.

If I decide to keep the Amazon Prime Subscription - Cuts 4-5 days of free shipping from Amazon to VPost, next and future bulk might charge RM3 per person just to cover the yearly Amazon Subscription fee.

Edited: The total for 10 BD is 900.50, so each BD is around RM 90.05 not including shipping yet.

Sony Pictures Beginning tomorrow, owners of Sony Pictures BD-Live Blu-ray titles will be able to register their discs online to receive "points" they can redeem for Sony products and prizes. Once the disc is registered with the program - which is called Sony Pictures Blu-ray Club - points will automatically be credited to the user's account and can be checked at any time on the Blu-ray Club website.

Lexine Wong, Senior Executive Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, commented, "SPHE is dedicated to providing consumers with the most dynamic Blu-ray Disc experiences possible. The Sony Pictures Blu-ray Club, made possible by the new interactivity of BD-Live, provides a unique incentive for our consumers who have embraced our Blu-ray high definition movies."

The Walt Disney Company has been running a similar promotion for some time with their DVD and Blu-ray releases dubbed "Disney Movie Rewards". Sony's program removes the necessity to log into their website to register, and instead allows the viewer to register their disc right on their BD-Live enable Blu-ray Disc Player.

i still remember the scene from Beauty and the beast. where they were dancing the first time in the ballroom.. can u guys remember that scene??? the artwork.. and how they move the scene to go up to the chandelier.. and focus in on the cherub paintings on the ceiling, then focus back on bell and the beast dancing with their reflection moving on the marbled floor against the starry royal blue sky... such an Amazing scene back on VHS! i just cant imagine how it would look now on Bluray... waaah~
