can u guys give me some advice..

since i have a ps3 as blu-ray player im thinking of getting a dvd player.. for the purpose of my ekhem dvd9 coz i heard ekhem disc can damage ps3 lens..

so is it better to buy another stand alone bd player or dvd player just for the purpose of ekhem dvd9?

I have silver DV-400 and a black DV-410. Got the DV-410 just for the black color. This is all because of the Onkyo, now everything must be black. Where can I get a black Astro decoder?

They can actually. All PS3s can play DVDs, as long as they're the same region or the disc is region free.

With MD and SACD formats not exactly dominating the audio masses, Sony's back with a new format by the name Blu-spec CD. It takes advantage of (you guessed it) Sony's Blu-ray Disc technology to press new high-quality discs while somehow maintaining compatibility with regular ol' red-laser CD players. How? No idea, really -- it's some kind of secret, proprietary Sony magic hidden deep inside of Google's Japanese-to-English language translator. Perhaps an English press release will be issued later in the day. It does seem that Sony will kick out about 60 Blu-spec CD classics (Miles Davis' Kind of Blue for example) in December ranging in prices from ¥2,500 (about $25) to ¥4,200 ($42). Ouch.

I know that PS3 only has 1 HDMI port and that will be used for your HDTV. So where will the HDMI cable for audio go to get HD-Audio?
