Totally new to buying from Amazon for blu-ray movies. Dare not try to get them directly myself for fear of getting stuck at custom clearance. Tried once during Raya hols. Bought 3 titles including Ironman and shipped thru UPS. Received the bds 5 days after shipping out. Strangely the guy at UPS told me that I was lucky that Amazon declared the shipment as 'unknown' instead of CDs or DVDs, otherwise sure stuck at custom pending duties.

Dunno if bros here experience this before. His remarks sort of put a damper on my further purchases from Amazon US.

However, I am now very keen to secure 1) Transformers 2) POTC trilogy and 3) Matrix trilogy.

This thread is really poisoning! Within this month alone has already amassed 16 titles with 9 more on the way......didn't even realise I had purchased so many until this morning. Luckily wife understanding and bro Arj so accommodating.

This is indeed an extremely poisonous thread. The worst I have ever experienced in my life! Since I took up blu-ray. in early Oct...no thanks to all the regulars here, I have amassed about 30 titles in the space of one month!

And I have at least another 10 on the way through the efforts of some bros here. But I'm enjoying every minute of it immensely. Now, I just have to convince my wife to see it that way as well.

Wow..the award winners are really nice to have. Have some but not all. Still a fairly new collector. All in good time.
