Not to mentioned Pearl Harbour + Face off  thumbup.gif LPCM from UK  thumbup.gif

By the way i just opened and test water on Good luck chuck outside didn't upt unrated but showing unrated in the title screen  thumbup.gif  + just browse a while got lots of (.)(.) here and there smile.gif
wondering how it pass through Finas  sweat.gif

It depends on the cover art. It doesn't look like Good Luck Chuck cover art is provocative at all. so
you should be ok.

But.. if you get something like The Girls Next Door, most likely it will be held up for additional screening.

What is Amazon doing? Sekejap turun sekejap naik balik....chez....now have to wait for a while to get the Speed Racer.

Added on October 7, 2008, 10:25 pmJust check my basket.... prices of other titles have also increased....the price of Chicken Little has been reduced to 20.95... Control..... control...

Supply and demand factor... and also in US, Amazon will try to match the brick and mortar stores sale price as well.

My friend told me that sometimes, those huge brick and mortar stores (example: Target) have special price during weekend or a promotion. Amazon will try to match it during those sale period. Once the sale is over, Amazon will re-adjust it back to their usual number.

Therefore, you have to watch for it to happen and click to buy immediately if you spot it before it goes back up couple of days later.

Congrats to those who managed to score it ($19.95), that's a good deal.
Now.. let's hope for the next deal.. perhaps they have B2G1 or B1G1 later. tongue.gif

The 1st item is 4.99+3.99.
Every subsequent item is 3.99 additional.

Therefore, the more items to order, average down, better the savings
for everyone.

All,

I hate to bring this up and post here, but I have no choice, else I become a suspect.

sunauto, it has been almost 7 weeks since I placed my order with you on the 4 BDs. I have not heard from you since and you have not posted since.

As such, I have purchased the BDs thru other means.

*
Who the hell is sunauto? I did not seem to notice any post from him here. hmm.gif

kinda like paypal?

Yes, like Paypal.
In Malaysia, company like MOL Safepay offer limited but same type of service like paypal.

Go check it out: http://www.molsafepay.com/molsafepay/default.aspx

They hold payment until buyer verified item has been received but because of the fees
are kinda high, sometimes only worth it if transaction over RM200.

I only wish Paypal can expand their full service to Malaysia.

If Paypal were to expand to Malaysia, we will not need them but due to our severe
limitation of our banking system despite many has modernised their infrastructure,

I was told that our bank to bank payment and verification system and liability system still in years laggard behind our neighbours: Singapore and Thailand, hence complete Paypal payment still has not expanded to Malaysia yet.

they looks excactly the same like ori BD,not the durian BD selling at my place here.

I'm thinking of getting the ori BDs for Infernal Affair Trilogy.....anyone selling USED copy ?(actually 1st Episode is the best,2 & 3 just so so)  tongue.gif
*
I guess only the uneducated people got conned into thinking that the pirated BD is actually a true copy of the real BD
and not realising those were fakes with no true Blu Ray capabilities at all. They thought they got real high def which infact crappy DVDs but paid higher than normal price, matching even original DVDs.

Anyway.. pass the word around. Support original true BluRay, and this way sooner more people got educated what's real, what's not, BluRay hardware and software prices will come down even more.

Nice mask.. but cheap plastic. IMO, not worth the extra US$10~$15 more just for this exclusive
package. If you put in your shelves.. it is pretty out of place with other BD collection.
I think I prefer the standard 2 discs version with the slipcover instead.

thank you smile.gif it arrived 4 days ago, i just picked it up yesterday hehehe <3 <3

yes it is a nice mask. about it being cheap plastic, if u based that on how the looks and not actual / physical then ok.. if u hold it in ur hand and actually have it infront of u, im sure ull say something else.. the plastic used for the case is more quality than the ones used as the normal bd jewel case. and did u see the back label? its MARVEL! hehe is ur jewel case made / endorsed by MARVEL? of curz not smile.gif

now about it being out of place.. not at all.. it compliments my potc/avp/spidyman/encounter of the 3rd kind nicely.. if uploading isnt such a b****, i wouldnt mind pasting how it looks arranged amongst the other bds smile.gif
there is 2 option on displaying the case.. either 1, placing the mask in the clear plastic case that it came with (it may look like cheap clear plastic.. but its actually hard and quite durable), or u can just do away with the clear case and hang the Mask on the wall or somewhere.. which is actually MUCH cooler.

ehehe steelbook ironman incoming. will post pics when i have it smile.gif
*
Of course I see the back label.. it is right in front of me.. Yeah.. Marvel. Big deal.
Did you see the fine print: Made in China that is.

Don't you think it is out of place? hmm.gif

I think I'll get rid of this and get the standard slipcover version or steelbox instead.

I saw that pic before.. in one of the BD forum.. belongs to a black guy. Yeah, most DVD and BD collectors overseas have better collections than us.. esp. those from UK, USA or Canada 'coz their prices are much cheaper than what we are paying for imports. sad.gif

actually store prices in UK, US and canada for BD is not that great. i think the advantage they have is that they pay less for shipping, assuming they're ordering from websites like amazon and of course the currency.

if you have a look at amazon canada's price...its quite scary.
*
I still think that their stores prices (eg. Best Buy, Target, Walmart) are better than
our stores price (eg. Speedy, HVN, CarreFour, etc).

My buddy in USA sometimes send me a clip out advertisement from their local store,
some of the BluRay price at least 30%-50% less than what I saw at Speedy.

IMO, I think it is unfair to let Speedy hold the sole distributor license from the studios like Fox and MGM.
Speedy becomes monopoly and sells everything so damn expensive.

Collectors like us have no choice but to do parallel import.

Hopefully, Speedy and HVN petition to govt to stop parallel imports gets rejected
otherwise we won't be able get to buy cheaper movies anymore directly from Amazon or PlayAsia.

Jep, register for free trial Amazon Prime, then order the BDs yourself and ship to her hotel. I always do that if any of my friends go to the States. But the Prime trial can only be done once only.

BTW, DHL has done it again, received my Hulk in 54 hours only. rclxm9.gif

The 3D effect on the slipcase is very nice, on eof the best I've seen, got real sense of depth.

This is the first time ever I received one single movie from Amazon using DHL, with a cost of a standard shipping fee. I really feel like wanna hug someone from Amazon. Any Amazon representative here? laugh.gif

5 more shipments throughout the next few weeks until December 9. thumbup.gif
*
If using DHL, that must be priority international.. I think one must pay extra to get that.
So.. if using DHL, kastam won't kacau?
