wat's ur playing style? and budget?
*
Playing style? I cant think of any lolz, long time since i last played badminton, prefer an all-rounder one. I've heard about apacs, are they really good? Budget around rm200 i think. I got a few choices after reading reviews and forum:

1) Apacs Tantrum Shot 969
2)Apacs Tantrum Power 150 International
3)Apacs Visible Hollow 2000
4)Apac Rapier Z R
5)Apac Nano Fusion Speed 722

i am open to all other brands as long as it is valuable. I would love to have a racket that i wont be changing for some time.

Visible Hollow is a excellent racquet and its head heavy. I have a VH 1500 strung with Yonex BG85. Not really suitable for me but its a good racquet nevertheless.

I'm wearing a pair of Mizuno (not sure the model though). They are pretty comfortable and good for indoor courts.

first of all..i heard this..i don't own 1 (apacs z)
it vibrates like a massager and the rapier (sg version) has a smaller frame than spark (mas version)
vibration of the rapier is less than the spark but still very obvious

i recommend the VH or Tantrum because they're apacs own range and not bad too..bang for buck
if u're not sure wat type of racket suits u, then get the fusion or tantrum shot first..since they're cheap
mind u..the fusion is 5u

Then watch some old school badminton video clip also. . . biggrin.gif

Seem like they don't use any badminton bag to carry their racket & clothes?? hmm.gif biggrin.gif

old school player got more stamina then player nowadays? they still can play fast at the 3rd set; and 3 games of 15 points is almost equal with 4 games+ of 21 points, no?? somemore those old school racket is not as 'efficient' as new racket now.

old school shuttlecock quality seem like more durable also. . . hmm.gif

and when the shuttlecock land on the net, the one who most near the net will go pick the shuttlecock; but players now will just walk away eventhough the shuttlecock is just 1 step front if their opponent hit the shuttlecock on the net, why???
