I have totally different opinion regarding your arm sore. Despite of wrong technique, racquet's shaft stiffness does major part to absorb your energy and do the repulsion. If you use a racquet that its shaft stiffness overcome your arm power, you will have major energy reflected back to your arm in every hit. And that'd be the major cause for your arm sore. So normally if you're good player, always have accurate shot (at the racquet sweet spot), then you can go for stiff shaft racquet. Otherwise you're advised to use more flexible shaft racquet, enhance your hitting accuracy and power, and then only go for stiff shaft racquet. |
