There's a huge booth outside of the stadium for Yonex. But I can't really remember if they have rackets there. The other brands, they have promo for everything, but all inside.

I moved from Protech Masterpiece to Osone recently. The Masterpiece series has degraded severely, cost me 2 shuttles per hardsmashing game. The Osone Gold series last 1-1.5 game per shuttle. Try the silver series which around rm46 I think. The gold one is RM58.

Has anyone tried Phoenix brand ? Platinum and Titanium series.

i suggest you get better shoes..let's say yonex low range around RM100
you can consider Apacs..although i don't recommend their clones
at your budget, can get Visible Hollow, low end Tantrum

you can try Bangsar opposite LRT station
or pm arc1414..
quite honest seller

RCL No.1 is still available. You can e-mail to kkwm83@hotmail.com if you are interested.
By the way, for the range of RM40 to RM50, there is a new RCL model called RCL Gold No.1 which is around RM50.

But honestly, for anyone who wants durability, go for those RCL models above RM55.

what string is good for an intermediate player that hits very hard when lobbing but have only 10-30% smash power to pro players .
i want strings that produce good sound and distance when hitting the cock hard .. btw . im on Gosen grapower 22ti , a very lightweight racket .

btw , can give pros and cons for a light and heavy head racket ? thanks .

Added on May 13, 2010, 11:19 pmand a string that isnt expensive too

strings oni give u good sound..different strings won't give you much different in distance..different tension yes
if u wan good sound, go for YY BG66 (0.66mm) or even thinner strings like Ashaway Zymax 62 (0.62mm)

light and heavy head racket, IMO, it's more suitable for doubles
lightweight means easier to maneuver but produce less power compared to heavier rackets
head heavy, adds a bit more power to ur shots..good for smashes BUT might sacrifice defense

personally, i think it's a perfect combo for doubles attacking style

Playing style a bit offensive but wrist power not so good, any Yonex racket can recommend to enhance the attacking?
