wat's ur playing style? and budget?

forget the rapier z and out of others, i recommend the VH 2000 or Tantrum Power 150

first of all..i heard this..i don't own 1 (apacs z)
it vibrates like a massager and the rapier (sg version) has a smaller frame than spark (mas version)
vibration of the rapier is less than the spark but still very obvious

i recommend the VH or Tantrum because they're apacs own range and not bad too..bang for buck
if u're not sure wat type of racket suits u, then get the fusion or tantrum shot first..since they're cheap
mind u..the fusion is 5u

Ben, it all depends on ur budget, purpose and whether u like the design...good quality Yonex shoes cost RM250 to above RM300 (street price / after discount) However, they also produce the Ultima range which is a lower end range (without Power Cushion)

How Power Cushion feels? well very comfortable if you like to jump a lot in a game, my legs dun feel painful after my sessions. Many years ago I wore Nike futsal shoes for badminton, then I switched to SHB-100 with Power Cushion. Now I'm wearing SHB-101 LTD and never look back ever since

My suggestion is dun wear running shoes during badminton game, cos the sole is wider and not suitable for badminton. Get a pair of dedicated badminton shoes, in which u ONLY wear in court. dun wear for jalan jalan / jogging to prevent damaging the sole.

With ur budget you might be able to get NS800, or maybe if u meet a nice shop owner, he'll share with you which racket suits you. but all words and no action is kinda hard to justify whether the racket is for you or not, so it all comes down to 3 main types, Head heavy (offensive), balanced, and head light (defensive), pick one and go try

In ur case (mostly defending) I think head light rackets is for u, as they are more responsive, however u need to have a faster swing (instead of just brute strength) to generate a powerful smash..
