What are your opinion about GOSEN racquets? I tried one from a friend and I thought that it felt really good. Sort of like the weight distribution suits pretty well for me.
Been using an entry level ProAce that's about 12 years of age.
And about those grips. Do those that you all use have the double sided tape on?

QUOTE(ziggy87 @ Apr 19 2010, 09:22 AM) IMO, Gosen rackets are really good i've plans to get 1.. wow..that's very long life for a racket..time to change if u like it, just get it double sided tape?? i think so..beneath the grip surface..to stick to the handle Hehe but my old racket still serves me well. Was just considering GOSEN because I thought they're pretty affordable. Hehe yeah I asked about the double sided tape at the other side of the grip because, lately I've been using Tennis grips on my badminton rackets and I actually prefer them over badminton ones. And those grips do not have those double sided tape thing.

QUOTE(momorac @ May 10 2010, 03:27 PM) racket also got promo? the booth inside or outside the stadium? need to hav ticket or not? There's a huge booth outside of the stadium for Yonex. But I can't really remember if they have rackets there. The other brands, they have promo for everything, but all inside. QUOTE(hainur83 @ May 10 2010, 05:33 PM) i saw YOnex stringing team within the court. that one for public or team/player? Hmm I'm pretty sure no one is allowed into the court area if you're not involved

QUOTE(Sesshoumaru @ Aug 23 2010, 02:20 AM) Sorry gotta go off topic but Googling/Astro site/theStar is not giving me any results. Is the upcoming Yonex BWF shown on Astro? If so, what time? Don't have it, so probably will need to leech a friend's one =(. Should be around 4pm today.

I realized there are as many bad reviews as there are good ones on ArcSaber Z-slash. I thought a flagship racket should have at least, more good reviews The ArcSaber 8 DX actually have better ratings than the Z. Anyone tried any of these? PS: Since I am not willing to spend anything above 250 for a racket, I guess my question is quite pointless. But I still think it is interesting This post has been edited by khelben: Sep 2 2010, 05:11 PM

If budget 200-ish, I'd recommend Apacs Tantrum 200

QUOTE(wtfoo1 @ Sep 6 2010, 07:55 PM) No, it is not, the frame slightly smaller, I measurred it (after bought ), and when I read read, google, google, ask, ask, actually the advantage of small frame, more power for smash, but, more chance hit frame where isometric, frame bigger, less mishit, but less power smash. Hehe yeah its a bit smaller because its exactly like the Z-slash. But it is still isometric ma

I read that the Voltric is supposed to replace Armortec series. So 70 is probably the mid-range one.
Arc Saber 8 DX seems interesting. A lot prefer that more than the Z-slash.

QUOTE(ziggy87 @ Sep 7 2010, 10:10 AM) actually sometimes it depends on the buyer itself. some intermediate players might have the spending power and willing to spend RM500 for a racket. what racket would u guys get if u have RM500 to spare? i'll get a BS10/SW35/AT900P Hmm with 500 I'd probably get the ArcSaber 8 DX QUOTE(WhiteWing @ Sep 7 2010, 04:24 PM) Tomorrow badminton no people , all colleague sudah balik kampung. Sometimes your sweat comes from your arm, not just your palm. So a towel wristband works too.
