What are your opinion about GOSEN racquets? I tried one from a friend and I thought that it felt really good. Sort of like the weight distribution suits pretty well for me.
Been using an entry level ProAce that's about 12 years of age.
And about those grips. Do those that you all use have the double sided tape on?

in bkk, i did the string job at Yonex retail shop... so far so good for me.... But having a headache now... as the shop is in Central world.... It's closed due to the Red shirts protest... damn it....
lucky i string my at900t and arc7 before coming to taipei..... hopefully my other rackets wont die on me so soon....
in taipei, the labour charges are high.... buying strings actually not expensive.... only 200NTD various choices (BG66, BG70,BG80, BG85,NBG95++) but the labour charge is 150NTD..... total damage 350NTD.....

It only take 15 to 20 minutes to string a racket, but you are not the only racket he need to string, unless he give you some priority, else you maybe need to wait few hours. QUOTE(ziggy87 @ Apr 19 2010, 05:56 PM) i heard ara court is quite good experienced stringer only needs around half and hour or less Depends on using what string machine also; actually an experienced stringer only need around 15 minutes to string a racket on a 2 knot string machine using flying clamp. Was just considering GOSEN because I thought they're pretty affordable. Hehe yeah I asked about the double sided tape at the other side of the grip because, lately I've been using Tennis grips on my badminton rackets and I actually prefer them over badminton ones. And those grips do not have those double sided tape thing.

If you want good shuttlecocks then try increasing your budget a little. Better pay more for longer lasting ones than the ones that die very fast
