I just updated my Nokia e66 firmware yesterday.

Whenever i try to make a call it prompts out "Note: active diverts". It was fine before the firmware updating.

I've also checked Tools>Settings>Phone>Call Divert>Voice Calls>All Voice Calls>Check Status. But it prompts me "Not allowed".

Can i know is there any way to troubleshoot this problem? It's important because im in overseas now.

one of my friends e66(white) have some problem. she doesn't seem to be able to set the personalized ringing tone to each of her contact. Everytime when wanna set, it doesn't display the songs she had in her phone. it only display default and download.

Re-update the firmware can help getting back the font style and my chinese input? could it be because it's an Ap set and originally it doesn't come with the chinese input? Thanks in advance.!

Really very disappointed with the battery performance, i sent my E66 to Nokia SC after 5 days i bought my hp... really cannot tahan a fully charge battery cannot last for one day. i sent it for repair, they claimed the battery problem is due to my camera faulty. ( my camera ada problem??? it only 5 days old!!!)

they said my camera is keep shooting although it is not in use, i asked them where are the photos since the camera keep shooting, she could not answer me. she just said after they changed the camera, the battery problem will be solved. my phone can last for 3~4 days.

However, my hp still encountered battery low problem. just wonder is there any way i can ask for replacement or refund?? since the phone spec said the phone can be standby up to 11~14days but the reality is the phone only last less than 24 hours.... SUCK!!!! my 1st experience in using Nokia is total ruined by this battery problem... regret did not buy SE...

just got my e66 few days ago. i've been experiencing some lines on the camera / video mode when it is low light.

my compared to my fren's e71 - it is clear (no disturbing lines)

fyi, the lines appear after the photo is taken as well.

but i've been reading good comments about the camera. does my unit have a problem?

What is your firmware? The latest one? Try updating it and test again.

Added on April 9, 2009, 1:23 amCheck your phone product code. Since your phone was an AP phone, the product code could be some countries other then Asia. Change it using Nemesis Service Suite program and re-update the firmware.

Added on April 9, 2009, 1:35 amMine no problem wor, can display all the songs in my memory card and set them individually to each contact. Ask her to check the memory card. Plug it out and reinsert. Refresh her music library list from the music player. If still cannot then you need to ask an expert jor at the Nokia Service Center .

hmm i think with normal usage like call and sms the most can standby also 1 and a half day. that's all. the battery that they use is only 1000mah compare to e71's 1.5kmah

When I try to check my firmware/serial no in homescreen nothing happens (sim card inserted). It just beeps and back to homescreen page.

When I remove my sim card I am able to check the firmware/serial no

Dear E66 users,

Today, I just found out that my LCD screen in my E66 crack till half vertically. Screw!!! Called up Nokia Store at Sunway at they said it takes 1-2 hours to repair it and it might cost RM150++ the warranty is for "no labour" charge only. going over tomorrow and did I heard there is another update from 200 fw?

Do you guys have this problem sometimes the phone will scan for wireless even though you have set off the scanning? Is my phone get possessed? ahahahah

P/S: dont buy a pouch which has magnet ... guess what because the magnet my screen cracked!!! going to revert back to normal pouch

Are you sure the warranty is for labour charge only? u mean LCD is not covered?

Last time My Nokia 6680 lcd crack den i send for warranty and next day is expiry day for warranty. They replaced the lcd FOC..

They charged me RM139 on that last time!

Your LCD screen crack not because of manufacturing default so it will not be cover under warranty. You have no choice but to pay for it .

Hand phone is a sensitive electronic device, any magnet even a week one will cause trouble to your phone. Your phone electronic parts might have damage and now acting abnormal . Better ask the Nokia technician to check for you as well since you are bring your phone to them. Oh, ask them to update your firmware too

Thanks kwkean. Between, does all E66 comes with the predictive number search function at the main screen ? Or it's impossible to have that function for those firmware with chinese simplified firmware?

i hv my E66 since last 15 march.
not yet use it
as i dun like the communications log details record
i realize tht nokia (symbian 3rd edition) have the same type on this communications log record. which we cant delete the log transaction one by one.. grr!!

im a samsung user earlier.. still use my old phone coz i thiking of to change my new e66 to others..

wht is u opinion??
