Ya..the E-series. Well, I dont think its targeted just for businessmen..coz its multimedia features are pretty fascinating, almost on par with N-series.

As for the keypad..isnt it pretty much the same as other phones?? Just a few more shortcut keys added for the keypad for added functionality and ease-of-use biggrin.gif

ya, you do have your points..but i personally thinks that the shortcut keys helps alot on useability. Besides, it does add aesthetic value to the overall design..you should check out the back-lighting of the keypads ..its really cool rclxms.gif

Seaedge,

I just felt that its better to have an official thread for E66, whereby everyone can get more info and share their opinions etc here. Not trying to compete with LittleCow here but I'm just doing what I felt right for E66 users and enthusiast in LYN. Besides, I did post in LittleCow's thread whether they wanna make it an official thread, but no one replied me.

Hope my answer addresses your confusion.. smile.gif

smile.gif okay.. noted. i do notice ur intention... but its confusing to see both topic. thanks to the mod for clearing up...

anyway continue from the previous topic..

QUOTE(lynxs @ Sep 29 2008, 12:31 PM)
how so do u mean? and would it make that much f a difference? we are talking about a phone camera anyways.....

thnx
*
what i mean is the software implemented in the phones for camera. and yes, i know we are talking about cameraphone... none of wat is said previously were about digital camera. and then, the imaging software is about how it captures the image, the details, the noise level, compression.. and all sort of things which lead to a decent photosnapping. if not, why would a normal pns camera also have ranges when they can have only one model to cater all?

here, E66 is business phone, hence imaging software is not well tuned, which leads to poor performances. comparing back to N82 or N95, its imaging is much better when look into the detail, colour reproduction, noise level and so on. u might say it is equipped with Carl Zeis which i think it is not really relevant, but if u compare with N80's 3mp, i would say N80's takes better image. *i am comparing those photo's via gsmarena. please take note ya. smile.gif

p/s:i am not saying e66 sucks; i personally like how E66 features which makes like a one stop solution for business executives.

So if u dun get my point, why dont we see pictars... people say, pictar worth a thousand words...

I would really agree with Seaedge here..anyway, one will have to be clear that E66 is still an E-Series, catered towards business people. Its just that the E66 is topped up with pretty good multimedia features to add to its value. Some may find the images taken with E66 camera terrible, but some may find it just great for specific-situation image taking. It all depends on how you're comparing it with..Still, imaging software does affect a lot on the output quality as stated by Seaedge, and perhaps Nokia will release an updated firmware from time to time to improve its camera functions..who knw? tongue.gif

Anyway, how about I add-up Seaedge's review with a comparison of pictures from GSMArena:

Seaedge,

Truly sorry for the confusion. As I've mentioned earlier, i just want all e66 users to gather here and share among themselves. An official discussion thread with lots of info may be best for all E66 users to make full use of their phones..including myself biggrin.gif

Btw, calling all proud E66 users out there..come on in and share with us your experiences and comments, recommended softwares, tips and tricks etc.. nod.gif
