Hey, how much is E66 price now?? both ap and zitron

hi all,

i just used this phone for less than 2 days. overall, it's a great phone (traded in my P750).

the most significant improvement over my previous phone was Garmin XT software, in WM platform, it took ages to lock down the satellite, but no more with s60v3.

same thing happen with my E71. it hang when i press the green button to answer call. suppose to be firmware problem.

i just format it yesterday and see how it goes.

try do soft reset bro...

do u encountered any battery problem? my battery will drop 1 bar for every 4 hours, full charged battery could only last 1 day....

E & N-Series really having battery issues you might want to try the following:

1) Turn OFF WLAN Scanning

2) Turn OFF BT if not being used

3) Set Network to GSM if 3G is not being used

4)Go to profiles/general/breathing light turn it off or on..

none of the above can solve my battery problem... very frustrated!~!!

ytday noon fully charged - 2day morning ord almost flat...
occasional Wifi (scan off afterwards), BT while driving, some calls (<5 abt 2-3 mins each) and walla... today morning last 2 bar....
By the time it hit 1 bar, it will prompt and shortly, auto shutdown!
Any oth solutions? Did any u guys upgraded to higher amp battery?
Any side effect?

actually this model the power comsumption is high, if you compare this phone with other model, the stand by time or talk time is lesser..
light user roughly just can stand by 1.5 days only..

Seriously did you guys over charge your battery? I use this phone with bluetooth to listen music for about 2 hours perday and my phone still can last for 2 1/2 days. Garmin problem perhaps ??

want to ask, if buy AP e66, can update firmware or not?

so wat is the advantage of buying ori over AP?

either ap or ori,BOTh can upgrade FW bro..

after 4 reparations from Nokia care center, they claimed my Garmin caused the battery problem (even my garmin license has expired..??) they move out my Garmin from my memory card and replace another memory car for me ( but i suspect this "new" memory card has been used before bcoz it looked "old")

now my phone battery is slightly better than before after full charge can last for 1.25 days ( bcoz after 24 hours will left 2 bars and i dare not take the risk to continue use it to avoid any sudden auto shutdown)

i will go to make complain again next week because 1.25 days is not acceptable. the specification from Nokia website indicate the standby time maximum up to 264 hours and talk time up to 7.5 hours. my phone is maximum standby time 1.5 days and talk time =??, i never measure the talk time before... if my phone didnt fulfill the specification as stated, i will have the right to request for it!

i suggest those who have battery problem should go to make complaint to nokia care center or email to nokia careline,so that they will look into it.

don give up and fight for your consumer right!!!
