QUOTE(ck_spaceboy @ Oct 3 2008, 08:53 PM) Ya, notice all the reviews mentioned a kinda bluish tint on the output images. In the new firmware, colour processing seems really improved. However, I failed to find any changelogs on the firmware releases...anyone successful in finding the changelogs? ck... next time u can find uncle wiki for answer ya... Another question...any one can describe wad does EV (Exposure Value) do in camera? Thks EV definition |

Ya, i actually read through the definitions from Wiki-wiki, but its pretty confusing though. Its all in "photography" language..haha
Anyway, I was asking as in the E66 camera, we dun get to set the ISO level, but we can only set the EV instead. The output is that higher EV = brighter picture and otherwise. So I was just hoping a good explanation in layman terms might help photography nerdie like me to understand more, hehe |

hehehhe.. sorry but that is what i usually do if i dont know whats the meaning of certain things...
however, you u are hardworking enough, you should just take pictar of the same subject& condition with different ev setting.. and you will get better picture of what is EV about. |

the current E66 is FP1 topped up with some FP2 features..but a search on the net certified that the E66 and E71 will be the last batch of Nokia phones featuring OS 9.2 FP1..others and future ones will be completely FP2.
I'm nt sure if there's a way to "upgrade" our OS to FP2..but it'll be great if this is possible, Hehe. |

Ah that is sad to hear. Guess they purposely leave out the FP2 same like n82. Sigh. FP2 looks neat and not to mention it also saves the battery life alot I'm nt sure if there's a way to "upgrade" our OS to FP2..but it'll be great if this is possible, Hehe. |

well, tech gadgets memang like that..a phone can be state-of-the-art today, but an antique tomorrow..
besides, i highly doubt that a full FP2 will make so much difference with FP1..coz they'll still be based on the same OS9.2 platform. Perhaps the most noticeable changes would be the animations, UI and useability improvements...whereas performance-wise will not differ much as they'll need to re-design a different system architecture for that. Juz my 2cents |

QUOTE(adrian_huen @ Oct 5 2008, 10:15 AM) Garmin Mobile XT is an alternative GPS navigation software to Nokia Maps. Its totally free, and GPRS charges occur only when you:1. Surf to Garmin Online via phone 2. Use A-GPS (lock position faster via web) |

QUOTE(Seaedge @ Oct 5 2008, 09:21 PM) yes the ori nokia 2gb microsd.A question here, if we choose using mass storage instead of pc suite while connect via usb cable, looks like something weird happened. I can't access the memory card after that and have to restart the phone, and some setting will back to factory default such as if before this i set to store sms/contact in memory card, etc. Anyone having the same syndrom? |
