Nice pics dude..now we've proven that the E66 does indeed have a reputable camera, not as described in reviews online. If add Carl Zeiss lens on the E66, this phone is perfect d!!!

There are quite a few "hot" applications out there such as FS Caller, FExplorer, PhotoRite SP, Opera Mini, SmartMovie, Divx Player etc..besides, I've posted a few good applications links on the main page as well, be sure to check those out ya

The Nokia Maps offers 3-month free navigation license only, after which you'll have to pay for the services and its really expensive. There are quite a few free GPS software out there which you can try..but Garmin Mobile XT is not free. You may find "free" ones if you try hard enuf though

Thanks for replying my PM. After mp3 problem, now I've my own "Album Cover" folder in my phone. Some of my mp3 unable to load the Album Cover that I added into the mp3 using Winamp so I manually add them in the Phone. Tested the playlist " *.m3u " playlists is supported but don't know why when I open using File manager I got corrupted file end up the playlist I created using the Phone itself also gone. Have try the second time because preparing a trip up north.

I thought the Gallery can have the view like the N series where we browse movies and photos but at least is faster the loading time compare to N73 and with some animation transition. I Loving It! Problem with file manager is that we are unable to have a preview instead we need to open only we can see the files. PhotoRite SP is a trialware rite? I click to the link that you provided in the first page. Is not a freeware rite? How about the Garmin? Have you try it? I downloaded the GoogleMaps.

BTW, I found another issues. I'm not sure whether you guys having the same problems. If we've the auto-rotation ON while we on a CALL we might endup line break. I hope you guys understand what I'm trying to say. Even the other side party can hear the line breaks. After disable the auto-Rotate, everything went fine.

hem..this realli needs serious monitoring ..is it just the call button onli? If it happens again, make sure fast fast bring to shop and change ya.
Some ways you can save the battery is to turn the power saver mode faster, remove screen saver and things like that..it does help.

I read from some reviews that the reason its not full FP2 is becoz at the time of E66 design stage, FP2 is not readily available/released yet. So perhaps the FP2 features was tested on the E66 n E71..thus creating a Symbian s60 v9.2 FP1-FP2 fusion. Hehe.

The album cover problem may perhaps due to Winamp and not the phone..coz I tried using TT Player and it works fine..unless you had no problem loading the covers with Winamp with your previous phone. As for the playlist, I really have no idea..

The Gallery in E66 is much simpler than N-series since it aint multimedia..PhotoRite SP is a good alternative IMHO..and it is trialware. The link does work..search carefully ya? If you want a preview, try the built-in Search tool. I seriously find it superb..as you can search everything in your phone easily especially multimedia files and contacts; have preview as well

Garmin Mobile XT is definitely high recommended..and again..search carefully..hehe.

The auto-rotate problem during calls...hmm..I tried that but its fine with my phone. Besides, I dun reali think we'll rotate our phone while talking..rite? This prob occurred due to the "slower" processor..

I was exploring the Nokia PC Suite and found out that this is really a SUPERB software..cant believe I have this great software with me all this while..it can indefinitely perform almost every single tasks..such as accessing files from phone and memory card, accessing contacts, sms and emails, multimedia files, video and audio conversions, install applications etc.

This is really cool..not like the old PC Suite..

dont worry, because I also cant find the option to start the front camera..

front camera is for video calls oni.
u cant take picture with the front camera.
this aint the n-series, u know..

For the call button problem, are you sure your phone is in Home Screen when you press call button? Coz it only works while in Home Screen. Besides, are there any running apps in the background at that moment? Is your phone locked?

Ya, we cant use the front camera to capture images..but why? Can use 3.2mp camera to take self-portrait...dun use the VGA camera la...hehe

There's some 3rd party software that allows you to take images using front camera though...

New E66 user >> hemanlo just told me that he got a BRONZE e66 which is supposed to be limited edition and he did paid higher price for it.

I tried searching the net for this "bronze e66" but just cant find anything...Any opinions guys?
