Yo grazy, prolly i'll just wait for another few days. If the problem still persists, I might considering getting a new sim card. Meanwhile, I saw the news of new cupcake update. With my G1, an unlocked set, is it possible for me to update via the system update of the phone itself? or I should get other versions of cupcake?
*
If our G1 are rooted, we will have to follow the rooted firmwares (HTC ADP1.5, Dude, Haykuro or JF).
We will not be getting any of the official Google/T-mobile OTA firmwares. (besides the official HTC 1.5)

if you have jf/haykuro/dude custom firmware, you can download apps jfupdater from market and upgrade your g1 to cupcake using the apps thumbup.gif

As long as your G1 is rooted with JF/Dude/Haykuro, you may update with the JFupdater.
For me, I still prefer update in manual way ^^;

Guys, my droid still can't connect to DIGI. I asked my colleagues and all of them have no problem accessing to DIGI. What the hell is going on? One of them said the phone may suddenly feel very sophisticated n start to reject 64K sim card...that doesn't make any sense.... rclxub.gif

Added on May 4, 2009, 6:08 pmLatest trial & error, I used my colleague's 6-year-old Maxis Sim Card. Even worse, my droid doesnt even recognize the sim card...
