QUOTE(grazy @ Jan 28 2009, 08:50 AM) Welcome aboard ^^ I already find the native browser quite good, what is the advantages of steel? Hmm how big of a SD card can this support? Just bought a 8GB was thinking of getting the 16 GB but afraid it might slow down the phone. For me, the best six must have apps are: - power manager, manage energy usage - atrackdog, track and update ur installed apps from the Android market - mybackup, backup ur data include the APN - AKnote, jot ur personal note - loot, expenses and budget - steel browser, versatile web browser, can enable iphone mode. Cheers @ Happy CNY to all G1 owner Have you rooted your phone or are you leaving it unrooted and waiting for cupcake? Damn got to suscribe to Maxis unlimited 3g, to get the full advantage. |

Any appz you use for ringtone management? I am using the ring extended because android doesn't detect the mp3 i add when i want to assign individual ringtone.
And idea on the max sd size? Btw how do you clear up your memory? |

And also the fear i might brick my phone lol. Have you d/l the lasft.fm client? THe market doesn't allow me =( |

QUOTE(terryfoo @ Feb 3 2009, 10:43 AM) if buy this phone in malaysia, is it ap or original ? if ap can download sofware for freee ? how much selling now for original ? Most of the phone is unlocked, there is no AP set per say cause i don't think there is warranty offered here. The set is original though and i can't ever hear people complain about the build quality, to me it's quite solid. Look, this phone is exciting because it's new and the software itself is new and on a trial per say. If you want guarantee and something you're familiar with, get a WinMo mobile. If the phone is spoiled though luck, not sure who can fix it. To me, after my palm, this is the closest i can get again, that is until the PRE-Palm comes out. Be advised, getting this phone means better off getting unlimited data, since connectivity is one of it's biggest advantages. That being said, i love downloading youtube off this gadget. |

Added on February 5, 2009, 1:54 amupdated to rc-29.... root access useful for us? How much did you buy your phone and location? Well the latest RC is RC 33, it just came out 2 days ago, even i still don't have it =( Hmm had a brief with the touch Diamond, it was way sluggish compared to this, Iphone is somewhat troublesome because my sister had multiple hang ups with the jailbreak method. Why did you say this was way better then HD? |

Talking about battery draining, someone in the AC forum said that you can leave your GPS on and it will not effect your battery life with the provision that you press the "back" button after you are finish with the map.
Actually there are a lot of tips to maintain the battery life, that no on actually compiles. How much does meebo take |
