What's the weight of 6 litres of breeder's calect? I need to compare it with the corn cob and see which is more economical to buy.

6L of bredder celect isn't that economy if compare with Chipsi but then , Bredder celect doesn't have much smells.

I only put 8 scoops of BC and mix with corncob in ZooZone2. Can last me about 2-3 weeks then only change. I think you overuse your BC tongue.gif

I'm not using chipsi. It was...what is that corb cob thing?

Cannot remember the brand but it comes in three sizes, 1kg, 3 kg and 5 kg approx.

Problem with corn cob is that it's taking forever to break down in my compost, but if it's very much cheaper then I have to live with it.

Lol How many times you change in a month, Andy? I usually wait two weeks.

The first week I rear , I was using vitakraft bedding , after I receive my BC , for sure I wash it and change it.
Maybe I should change it once every two weeks or three. wink.gif

Chipsi 60L is only 20bucks. blush.gif

Zoozone 1 or 2 is a Cage/Tank that manufacture by Hagen which also creates Living World.

Get a LC-Vit from petshack and pour a little bit into the water , as easy as that.

Not from KL lol.

Ok thanks for that, later i search in Kuching. smile.gif

you mean price? I think its RM22 for the 6 litre pack.

correct me if I'm wrong...but the term 'litres' on these packs don't mean the weight of the pack but they stand for the amount of water it can 'eat'?

i think it's better to use litres to compare, instead of weight.. cos some bedding are heavy but small in volume (like WoodyPet)..
but corn cob will turn moldy when it touches water, so it's more suitable for hamsters that are toilet-trained, IMHO.. or if u're diligent enough to throw away the wet corn cob every now & then..

Thanks for the informations but what would you suggest for a begginer like me gets? The metal cage or the plastic cage?Money wouldn't be a problem as long as the hamster is comfortable.

And for the bedding,I can easily get it from the shop right?
*
plastic. easier to clean and lighter

My brother bought me a Breeder Celect.. 35 litres = RM90.. hehe smile.gif

So, i changed all of my pets' enclosure to BC.

4 x 2feet tank = 3 for Mongolian Gerbils + 1 for Duprasi
2 x 1.5feet tank = Mongolian Gerbils
1 x Zoozone 2 = Hedgehog
1 x Medium Cage = Sugar Glider
1 x Small Cage = Sugar Glider

Now left only with 1/3 BC.. hehe tongue.gif The last time i used BC was when i first get the BC from the starter kit i bought from Petshack.. Then, i was thinking better use BC as less dust, less smell, more healthy for pets and us too.. smile.gif

Mine last for a month, if soiled, i just scoop out that part and add new ones.. Saves a lot too.. U all shud try!

Hey fellas!

I'm studying in Sunway College right now.
Knowing that it's kinda near to Petshack, how can I get there through means of public transport?
Does RapidKL or the mini bus pass by anywhere near there?
Never been to PetShack before but will go there most likely next month blush.gif
I'd like to know the best way to get there...

Thanks in advance!

I don't think there any busses going to KTM stations. Or Star LRT for that matter. Putra LRT is an exception. Anyway what busses pass by Sunway College?

I'm not sure but if I wanted to go to Sunway Pyramid by foot,
it'll take about 5-10 minutes like that.
The nearest KTM I know is around Subang Parade area

There's the blue/yellow mini bus 66 and 68. 66 can take me to Pyramid whilst 68 could bring me to KTM area
although I'm not sure where..
And at Pyramid bus stop, there's the RapidKL U62, T623, and U74 <- (I think)

take the bus to Sunway Pyramid, then walk over to Mentari...that's the easiest. The walk across the overhead bridge is like 6 times shorter than walking from Setia Jaya KTM station. sweat.gif see map also I scared liao...
