hmm.gif Yah, Should include. Aloe from Fluff is such a cutie. More good shops means more convenient for people right?

Guys, chipsi apple is made from PINE. Which is bad for your hamsters. It affects their respiratory system cuz of something that pine bedding releases over time.
*
OMG.... i had bought that...sigh sad.gif
mean unflavour chipsy is better? or other brand recomended?

untreated means no chemical. but still it doesn't maans save for small animal. cos timber itself contain chemical may harm the small fela who sleep in the bedding. smile.gif

erm, i jus bought "chipsi" brand bedding, wanted to clarify is good enuff for the hamster?

btw, i most people feed the hamster "green ball food"....wat is that?

Mien gott, not the green ball case again.

That is NOT what you should be giving your hamster! These irresponsible sellers take human bean crackers, kokocrunch and honey starts to repackage as hamster food mad.gif

Is the Chipsi pine bedding? Pine=softwood=bad.
*
oic...bad OEM food... doh.gif
dun worry, normaly i will buy quality food for my pet. "Prestige" is good right? but abit exppensive...tongue.gif

about the "chipsi" brand....it jus write "untreated timber"....haizz, i bought that edi...may b i go exchange later...

my hamsters are quite small still...they're not used to eating something so big. Even though I bought the smallest sunflower seeds available. Slowly but surely, they're preferring the sunflower seeds over Living World Classic staple food.

anyone need sunflower seeds? tongue.gif
*
icic, maybe chop it become more refine ? tongue.gif
im penang, if u dun mind can donate for me.... laugh.gif

Just remember that breader celect and back2nature are cat-litter, so you may find them in cat litter section if you cannot find them in bedding section.

Hamsters have padded paws, dwarfs being more furry padded than syrians..... corn cob is ok to use. You made a good choice coz it is much better than wood shavings.

thanks for sharing icon_rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(Sophiera @ Sep 24 2008, 10:16 PM)
I bought the cat litter because I found that corncob isn't decomposing fast enough for my compost laugh.gif

Still got quite a bit of CC to finish though sweat.gif

You know when my bro bought it, he totally had no comment but a lotof dots because suddenly see meow meow picture instead of small animals.
*
erm, decomposing for ur compost? wat is that? blink.gif

dear all, im back again...with alot of question again... laugh.gif

above is my robo 家家 and 乐乐 wub.gif

1. im feeding them prestige staple food, after 1 day i found that they onli eat all those "kuah chi"...let over thoose hard food....so they dun like it or it is to too hard for them to chew?

2. i was trying to play with them...i put them on my hand (was bery hard to hold them sweat.gif )...after some time they throw out the food they keep inside thier mouth....am i too harsh on them until they vomit or my handling method got problem?

3. jus now i was trying to use sand bath to bath them...i pour some sand in the container...then put them in....they jus sniff around(trying to eat the sand doh.gif ) and try to jump out....they din't roll around the sand...how ah?

4. jus one day, my hamster cage got some "sour" smell edi.... is it my corn cob bedding not absorbing well or the hamster pee?

5. last question, if take photo with hamster...can use flash o?

thanks in advance... notworthy.gif

Robos are so cute!  wub.gif I really like their eyebrows!!

1. I find my Aloe eating things that he likes first and then move on to other things. I think that they'd eventually will eat everything else, its just that they favor the kuachi more.

2. Most probably from their cheek pouch. Maybe they think that you'd leave them alone if they surrender their hoard?  tongue.gif <----------- laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

3. I haven't tried any sandbath Aloe but he really does rush to use the toilet sand to pee.

4. Aloe now smell a bit sourish coz he's using timothy hay as his nest. Does corn cobs smells?<-------erm, at 1st i think no smell, after one day got some "sourish smell....

5. I actually forgot to turn of the flash once when I photographed Aloe, he just seemed a bit startled but not at all traumatic. But I figured better not use flash.

QUOTE(anderyna @ Sep 25 2008, 11:10 PM)
@athirah: yours is syrian right? syrian no need sandbath de, they can groom themself very well. but if you want also can cos after sand bath, the fur will be very smooth whistling.gif
well, syrian are the most greedy breed compare to other.. my sugar can stuff 2o kuaci in her cheek, dont try this at home brows.gif
i took out some of the kuaci after that
*
thx to sqwerk2, athirah and anderyna for the sharing... thumbup.gif i love the answer of hamster trying to bribe us to get thier freedom... laugh.gif

i think every untamed hamster will have that behaviour.. my robo and WW both react that way when i hold them to manja2 with them..
the only reason i can think is because they are scared.. think logic.. do u still have the feeling to eat when u think your life is threaten? same goes with hammy.. that is why they throw away the remaining food in their pouch
*
yaya, i agreed also...hope they will get used to it.... rolleyes.gif
