even if can, the cable to long will result in delay in getting the video from the gpu/pc. so totally not recommended bro, +dmc4, looks damn good on  tv thumbup.gif although i would recommend using hdmi smile.gif window output setting only need to change if using Vista if not mistaken.

Ya agree it will result delay, try using 10 meter long DVI cable (maybe more longer rolleyes.gif ) before. There's lack about few second to transfer the frame to the far away LCD monitor, but still in acceptable range.
DMC4 really nice for playing if able play on large TV, plus if you have the xbox controller. Haha i just try it on my 24 inch LCD with the xbox wireless controller, feeling like play xbox tongue.gif lotiman2003 bro, you should try the controller if u play on TV smile.gif

Why you people dont wait for ATI 4830 card, since the memory bandwidth is 256 bits as compared to 128 bits 4670 counterpart?

It is priced Between HD 3870 and 9800GT..
Because the HD4670 doesnt require any PCIE Connector..Which is easy for those dont have budget to buy new psu and use Cap Ayam PSU biggrin.gif

Thx for the reply, I was planning to buy a USB adapter for my PS2 dual shock 2 controller to play games. (But not sure whether it is supported in Vista)

So, you mean HDMI can be 5M long without losing signal?
Oh, I nearly forgot, I'm not using those brand new LCD TV. I'm using those conventional Sony Trinitron only tongue.gif
I guess HDMI is impossible for me. Only S-Video. So, right now I have to figure out a way to connect S-Video to my old TV through very long cable. tongue.gif

OK,

After carefully considering my options, i have decided to dump the green team and got myself a 4850 Sonic from Palit. The card is super sweet!!! I can actually play Crysis on high with little problems. Minus the memory leaks at certain parts of the game.

And the temp on the card on full load is great too. I get around 55c while trying to kill my card on crysis.

the 1st thing is my consideration when i buy the graphic card will be:
1. HDMI port available. (if possible get a display port graphic card)
2. ultra fast graphic memory.
3. durable and solid built.
4. special cooling method.
5. price + performance combination.
that should be okay with the upcoming 256bits memory powered ATI 4830 card with decent cooling, HDMI port (if possible with display port) price around ~RM500

look the the specs of the memory timing too... GDDR3 with good memory timing is fast enough, as long they are of 256bits of bandwidth.

hmm, not really accurate..then 512bit is godlike?....not really though it depends on the gpu processor itself..these days those bit don't really matter much..
