Choose Gainward. brows.gif Study all the links below. icon_idea.gif

Seriously, your question is too general. It would help if you can let people know your budget, intention (hardcore gaming @ max settings, mid range gaming @ good settings, normal use, office use, browsing only etc), what kind of games/applications you mostly use, what is your PC specs, and etc.

The more info you give, the better advice you'll get. Plenty of experience users and knowledgeable people here.

When choosing graphic card, things you need to let people know when asking question is

1) Your PSU model and watt
2) budget

With these two, i believe most of LYNers can help you to choose your best bang for money GPU..

Why not order online from shops like moderno etc? Surely the trouble of driving down (petrol, toll, time etc) makes the postage worth it. Unless of course you're in KL for something la.

if you wana buy a system unit after chinese new year, i think it is too soon to survey for prices, coz the prices drop frequently.
somore, by that time, i guess a new generation of graphics card will be here already, who knows?
for processor and mobo, nahelem is the next thing to look for, no price yet though...

1 terabyte is quite affordable now. the fastest hdd is ssd now, but, it is almost beyond the reach of normal consumers.
for the comparison of nvidia vs ati, please google it and see the performance.
or just dig out this thread, or click on netraid's links.

HD4850 got Tv-out right? Actually can I buy the cable or perhaps extension around 5 metres to connect it to my TV? Will the signal lost or anything?
