CCC 8.9 does not support 4670 yet...

QUOTE(AMDAthlon @ Sep 20 2008, 12:49 PM)
Yea i know it doesnt support.But if install it,it wont detect it?
*
yup install ive try oledy...Cannot find any driver for your hardware error popup...

bout the 88gt vs 4670 thinggy....ATM iam still sticking with 88gt...cuzz it can handle low fps much better....maybe no proper driver yet for 4670....

realtime css fps:

8800gt = 65-100fps

HD4670 = 50-140fps

have u tried e-mailing ATI for technical support? i think it's most probably drivers problem. use back old card first if u do not want to waste the money, or if u have extra moolah, then LCD all the way biggrin.gif

yeah, i will wait until this problem is solved. thanks for the reminder

LCD no problem, the problem is with CRT...is not a problem really...its a bug, the card set hi resolution and refresh rate by default.....as the result of that the CRT cannot work propely...

Our Gainward 4670 comes with all ports: D-Sub (CRT), DVI, HDMI and Display Port. So users with CRT can connect directly to Gainward 4670 without any converter.

Further, Gainward 4670 Custom Cooler has an anti-static, anti-dust PCB cover for protection.

CRT is already been buried in the HISTORY, since 2 years ago..
Now (september, 2008 onward) we are talking about HDMI, and hi - resolution display LCD, 22" and more..
and the future is all about DISPLAY PORT connection and more than 24" LCD, and full 1080P blue ray support with 16:9 aspect ratio.

sorry to say that.. the problem is with U CRT monitor, not display card.
That's the 17inch crt only can support the maximum resolutions of 1280*1024 - 60refresh rate
