It will drop soon once HD3650/HD3670 is phased out completely from the market.

Guys,

Please be reasonable lar. Let the distros here (no matter what brands) survive. Don't just follow RRP prices in Europe or US blindly.

Please understand our problems:

1. Many have old stocks at old costs.

2. USD is at a very high rate, 3.5 maybe going to 3.6 soon.

3. Our margins are very low, due to ATI vs NV price war and stiff competition among the brands.

4. Don't forget we need to pay for shipping costs, holding costs, financing costs and support costs.

Thank you all for your understanding. notworthy.gif

no... current USD rate is 3.46, last time, when 4850 1st launch, the RRP price for US is 199, which is roughly around rm650, USD rate at that time is around 3.2, and we get it at that price, even can get rm630 at that time for 4850

rm350 for 4670 is just ridiculous, it should be around rm260, ($75x3.46)

ermm... no offence, hope our retailer can revise their price accordingly

RM300 would be totally reasonable for both sides.

This is the same price gauge that happened to the GTX 200 series, and minorly on the 4800s. It's a little more obvious here due to the already sensitive low-end market pricing.

Still, compared to that RM330 2600 PRO that I recommended last year to a lot of people, this is great value.

I think I'll wait for awhile and look at the price. Maybe too early too decide.

Anyone already see any 4650 cards being sold? Wanna get that one instead for non-gaming purposes.

that's the thing. 2600XT CF doesn't even feel as good as OCing 8600GT or getting 8600GTS. top up a bit more that time can get 8800GTS (G80) 384mb.
