wah, u so rich wo.....buy sis a expensive X'mas present!!!!!
maybe go for 125ax ler (hope got extra ext HDD for bonus also).... becoz 3200 is 32bit and 3450 is 64bit and RM200 diff. Scared that will regret is not getting 3450. i will make it 4GB ddr 800 lo... abt RM2000 total. do you think extra 70GB worth RM100? becoz 133ax got extra 70GB than 125ax. i can use RM100 upgrade RAM~~ But 125ax seem generate high tempt. any ati3200 user here? can report ur lappy temp? if 3200 and 3450 generate similar heat, then 3450 will be better lo... Spade, ask ppl post up their temp ler...hehe.... then we can compare. If 3200 generate much less heat then i also will go with 125au as u although mine is freedos but same spec wat. any pro have expert recommendation if my mind is wrong.... Will need laptop more than we do. maybe go for 125ax ler (hope got extra ext HDD for bonus also).... becoz 3200 is 32bit and 3450 is 64bit and RM200 diff. If I right then its worthwhile to get yourself extra disk space and extra processing power. If I were you, I will gladly add RM100. 3) I agree with you. Hope anyone here can post their idle/full load temp for system with HD3200 and HD3450. 4) I'm like you. If the system temp different is less than 5 degree Celsius, I will go for 3450 instead. After doing research and comparing all branded notebook, I think compaq presario CQ40 is very suitable to me, in price and also specification.
I have some question to ask: 1. How can the price in pc fair much lower than in the hp website? How can they do that? Is the notebook a totally new notebook? 2. Can I customize my specification, as what I can do when buying dell notebooks? e.g. I want to change my harddisk size etc. I saw that some of you having trouble of choosing HD3200 and HD3450 For me, as a desktop AMD780G chipset user, I don't know if the same thing will happen in notebook, but i would like to give me comment: I am using HD3200 built in graphic card and It is extremely enough for me, a normal user. So i will not choose HD3450 in buying notebook. My cpu temperature is always about 40+-3 degeree C. I am satisfy with that. However, I don't know if notebook will have the same temperature. |

Try calling HP directly and ask, I'm sure they are well aware of these ridiculously low prices. It could even be an official promo, minus the official announcement. I have some question to ask: 1. And when that happens it'd be harder to clear old stocks. Regarding whether the notebook is brand new or otherwise, that depends on the seller. In this case I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. 2. Not possible, fullstop. |

It has always been like that. And this 'non-customization' is not exclusive to HP Compaq.
