cannavaro,
ty for ur information...Sodimm is only for laptop ? wat brand is better and wat should i mention when buying?
AMD really make lappy very hot?
oh ya...lappy come without OS that means we nid to install OS urself?
Yes, SODIMM = laptop ram. You can never go wrong with a Kingston.
Just mention you want "1GB/2GB Kingston laptop ram, the 800 version", I'm sure most frontliners at lowyat would understand. Make sure you check the packaging, when I bought mine the staff mistakenly brought out a DDR2 667 (PC2-5300) version instead of DDR2 800 (PC2-6400).
Here, use czone's pricelist as a reference:

Yes you'd have to install the OS yourself.
The heat issue is subjective, but I can assure you it's not as notorious as the 'dragon', older generation Pentium D series from Intel.

FYI, I can play RA 3 at native resolution with lowest settings damn smooth. The graphics might not be breathtaking but it is the latest game
