Sure, just go to any Celcom branch to do the porting. I did mine and am very satisfied (yes, from Hotlink too).

Really need go verify ar? Yesterday I call celcom careline again, and this time she said no need go, as system will auto update the status

Not sure if you can get the UOX number form there. It is better for you to call them to find out first before dropping by.


When will they complete the auto update? If they don't complete the update within 1 month, your new number will expire and you cannot call out unless you top up.

I did mine about a month ago, it's free at that time. I suppose it's still free now. But even if you need to pay, it's worth it, trust me.

actually i wan to directly buy a new uox num..
bt dunno can get at celcom center or not..
last time they went to my college but they did not put up all the rates for call or sms.. so i din bother to look at it...
but then saw in the net that is darn cheap..
missed it..

yeah, some of my frens regret it too.. they simply ignored the UOX team come to their campus without knowing that UOX offer the cheapest prepaid plan in Malaysia..

by the way, no worries since you can get it at any (not sure all or only selected) Celcom Branches or Blue Cube outlets..

hi guys, i'm planning to change my Hotlink number to UOX thru MNP.

Do i have to visit the Celcom branches?

I've visited the Blue Cube at Giant KJ and Tesco Mutiara Damansara and they told me that porting only can be done at the branches...

Can anyone let me know if u have done ur porting at any Blue Cube?

You need to change to 3G simcard, since your current simcard is non-3G.

So far cannot la, please do double porting.

so far, MNP cannot be done at Blue Cube.. i dont know why, maybe Celcom not interested to add new customer lol.. but UOX is available at BlueCube.

but i asked their careline and they said it can be done at blue cube..
but blue cube have not got the simcards for UOX/SOX porting..
its been 3weeks since i asked and still no simcards.
they too recommend going straight to celcom branches..

tired of hotlink and fed up of traveling so far just to find out I can't switch at the Blue Cubes, I've changed to the yellow side online. Will consider UOX again when I got the chance..

You can switch...
But must make sure your Hotlink account is still active..
The charges for Hotlink nowadays is insane!!
They charge 60sec/block while other telco is charging 30 sen/block and even 1 sen/block.
I just initiated the MNP for my Hotlink...
First change to my sister's name at Maxis centre, then port to UOX...

just got my uox number today . any idea why i cant sms out ? settings all seem fine , even calls work perfectly

edit , can receive sms all , just cant send out
