what is sox?
where do u see it?
*
it should be school of x....earlier this week celcom ceo has introduced it (actually them...uox and sox)..different range of age i guess (in ur case)...sice u might too young for uox, then it becomes sox tongue.gif

about the credit availability until 26th bday, i just top up, but didnt get it....i think probably celcom offer it step-by-step, depends on ur bday...that means those who already got it, ur birthday just passed by..& those who still dont get it, u might get it on ur coming bday..
plz tell if this is not the case.. smile.gif

Just to clarify, School of X (SOX) if fer 12-18 yrs & Uni of X (UOX) is fer 18-25 yrs. No conversion from normal Xpax fer the time being. Have to get a fresh pack. Both packs can get from Celcom Service Centres & Blue Cube branches in Central, Northern & Southern region.

Fer those who r using the pack but still did not get the unlimited validity (till 25 yrs old), make sure ur form & IC reached Celcom branches, if not ur pack will be converted to normal Xpax (Mid).

Cheers =)
*
may i know where did u get this info from.. hmm.gif because in my point of view, i think the unlimited validity will be given according to ur bday...that means for those who still didnt get it, u might get this in ur upcoming bday this year..
but this is only my theory. tongue.gif ..someone plz correct me i f i am wrong... rclxms.gif

My validity is only until 13th October. I still haven't get an answer for why is it like that. I have reported this issue anyway.
*
i think they give it based on ur bday...that means if u still didnt get it, u'll get it on ur upcoming bday this year.. rclxms.gif
btw, plz inform here about what they reply to ur report... smile.gif

1. yup, u may convert your Hotlink number to UOX under MNP and keep your 012 number
2. yup, there is no expiry date until you're 26 years old.. your credit is always valid to use at anytime..
*
are u sure about this?
as far as i know, UOX number is already fixed...
even if u use celcom xpax, u cant change the plan to uox..let alone hotlink..
then, if convert hotlink to celcom under MNP, it will get normal celcom rate i think...

Confirmed, you can convert to UOX via MNP.
Ya, you can't convert to UOX from any Celcom number but other telco.
So existing XPax/Celcom user that wish to convert to UOX need to port to other telco's prepaid then port back to UOX.
This is the only way. Even those Celcom Customer Service Officer also suggest the same way for XPax user which wanted to change to UOX

Your question is very confusing. What cost are u talking about?
1. The UOX pack cost? = FREE, just reload RM10
2. The call cost / charges = 10sen/min to ur 8pax
3. The SMS cost / charges = 0.5 (half) sen per SMS to ur 8pax

Refer 1st page lah for the rates  icon_rolleyes.gif

off course it is not.. sweat.gif . u should read few posts before... smile.gif
below is my question...

but i already have it.....then just have a chat with him about this pax.
then i mention to him, why should other use this simcard if they can port to UOX and keep their existing number... tongue.gif
later, confidently he said, they cant do that!!because UOX numbers are fixed!!!(and yeah, that was what i knew earlier..)
i said (in my head only, hehe)where he is from??!! doh.gif how can he become dealer if he doesnt even know about this....porting to UOX... sweat.gif
LOL...

Anyone with info?

well, there is certain dealers which give u the starter pack FREE OF CHARGE. (while there are certain who might 'charge'a bit for their own income, i guess)..
i afraid we cant get it at the celcom centre, since it is dealer who in charge of this..
u use xpax, dont u? hmm.gif
in case u didnt know, other telco can port to uox directly if jump to celcom...

if only staring pax, of course it is avalable in centre, like greyPJ said, but i think it is only normal xpax pack.

what i post before meant for UOX pack. i think if u go to the centre, there is no UOX pack and they'll suggest u to find it at the outlets.

what line u r using now bro?why dont u just port to celcom? or u wanna have extra phone numbers?

Xpax can convert to UOX or not?

ps:i m 19 years old
*
to nonUOX celcom user, i think atm u need to do double prting, from xpax to other to UOX.
so far there is no news about directly porting from xpax to uox.
did u mean bluecube? hmm.gif
the obvious benefit compared to bluecube is the rate, call and sms..
if i not mistaken, blucube is 15 sen/minit to only 20people (teman 20)
while for others, 30sen something/minit.
uox is 15sen/minit to all numbers nationwide. thumbup.gif

want to share my experience here... smile.gif
i was trying to go to the celcom centre, to verify my UOX number...
i took lrt, and stop at ampang park...
its like my 1st time going that area...and i dont have any idea where is the centre.. tongue.gif
since people told that its between there and klcc, then i trying to walk towards klcc.
later found menara citibank..enter it, just to figure out its not there. sad.gif .now doubting whether its placed across the road or not...
that moment i was like "i am lost, should ask someone.."...huhu. cry.gif
after a while walking, then found that building...what a relieve!!! rclxms.gif rclxms.gif
stepping into the door, then not sure where to go and what to do, like "should i get the number or not.."
decide just to ask the receptionist, at the very in front of the entrance.
tell her my problem, then she ask my number, then showing her my IC, and she said its done!
few seconds later, get message, and when i check my balance, the validity has extended until my 26th bday!!! rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif
its only take few minutes to be done!!! (or maybe just few seconds!!!) thumbup.gif
before, i thought i need to fill, the form, blablabla...hehe.

after more than 1 year become UOX user, now i have transform to real UOX user... cool.gif

the only way is double porting.

i wait until my besday lost month, with hope that it'll automatically change, but nothing happen. sad.gif
