when celcom will update their website http://www.xpax.com.my huh.. celcom is far behind of their competitor when we talk about website.

however, for UOX info is available already at http://www.xpax.com.my/uox

and also, i've got an info Celcom Blue Cube (KL Sentral) are offering UOX registration. So, hurry up guy.. for those who didn't manage to find out where is their UOX booth..

I saw it last week (thursday), i hope it still available this week becoz when im asking them, they said it will available there unless they receiving any new instruction/order from HQ. So, for those who are interested, grab the chance now. Just go to Celcom Blue Cube KL Sentral while it still available.

Dont forget to bring along your IC.. and you must be between 18 to 25 years old. And also, you has never sign up UOX before.. if you already sign up before, sorry to say because you are cannot register new uox anymore..

Haha, I got mine from KL sentral blue cube... Sad to say...my validity is not till I 25 years old!! sad sad ...
Tell you, it took me 45 mins to get my UOX, so slow man... they work like snail....no offense k.
*
i dont know about other blue cube.. but i always visit kl sentral blue cube to pay my bills.. the service is very slow, ecspecially on Celcom E-Dealer portal.. im not sure it slow because of the system busy/slow or their (bluecube) internet connection is slow.. sometime i have to wait 10 minutes just to check my bill. worst, sometime they cannot login at all and i just leave my money, take the receipt (as a prove), and they will process my payment when the system is on.. shakehead.gif

Enjoy your free sms & call
*
lol, i got new nick 'Celcom boy'! laugh.gif

so, i believe we already know about Digi response to UOX.. new product called D'Campus (DC).. what do u think? which one is better..

- DC do provide free call to all digi number after daily usage rm1.

- DC also enjoy sms rates (anywhere) same as UOX.

- and also the call rates (but only within campus) same with UOX (anywhere)

- DC required student card/ID for registration purpose, also u must currently studying.. while UOX requirement based on age 18 - 25.

but not sure about credit validity, friends n family, or other special bonus..

maybe they still thinking the best plan to fight back.. i think those staff at maxis office are currently fight each other on how to come out with cheaper plan but at the same time they still can suck customer money laugh.gif

Every telcos looking up for student now , coz they are their main customer.

of course, students at IPTS/IPTA or any other higher institution is a very valuable segment.. it is future investment, since this students will become professional, executive, etc in the future.. this users will contribute higher ARPU to their respective service provider.

Heyyy....we need more people to join us! I can't see any UOX ads. around. Not in the newspaper also. How come they dun wanna advertise it widely?
*
i think, they do not want to promote it because this is limited/special plan.. not everyone will get it.. what is the point to promote it to all malaysian while they distribute if for free at only selected customer.

another possible reason is, they dont want current normal xpax users to switch to UOX then they lost lot of profit/revenue..

and also, maybe they do not want other telcos response to it if they promote it too agressive, and the price war will start again, then their product need to compete with others. so keep it secret laugh.gif at least other telco not really aware about it.

just my 2 cent thought..

ok, lets get back to the topic

i read in the Term n Condition on UOX website http://www.xpax.com.my/uox

i want to highlight the following statement:-

QUOTE
Celcom reserves the right to charge a subscription fee of RM3/mth for  special rates and features under this Program. After the implementation of such subscription fee, Celcom reserves the right to terminate the features andrates in whole or in part if the customer does not agree to pay the subscription.

QUOTE
Celcom reserves the right to charge a separate subscription fee of RM3/mth for  the special U.O.X. 8pax feature under this Program. After the implementation of such subscription fee, Celcom reserves the right to terminate the features andrates in whole or in part if the customer does not agree to pay the subscription.

QUOTE
In the event of insufficient credit in the customer’s account and/or if subscription is stopped after the implementation of the RM3/mth subscription, Celcom shall, in its sole discretion, migrate and charge the normal 8pax rates and/or any other prevailing rates. An additional RM3 on top of the normal subscription fee for the special Program rates/features and/or the U.O.X 8pax subscription fee will be charged if the customer wishes to subscribe again.

for details, visit http://www.xpax.com.my/uox/html/tnc.html

So, do u think celcom will charges rm3 monthly fee? but so far, no charge..

about credit validity, when we topup xpax university for rm30, how long we can make call out (assuming we still have credit) ??
*
UOX doesn't have any validity limit.. the credit wont expired until you're 26 years old.. so u can make call out as long as u have sufficient credit balance rclxms.gif

There are bluecubes in Perak right.
absolutely yes.. but bluecube and celcom branches offer UOX and SOX at their outlet.. while at the same time, dealer is another team that will attack school, collegue, and campus to open their booth. usually, every region will have one main authorized dealer based on contract by Celcom. This main dealer usually can find sub-dealer under their respective region.

so, more people could find their product.

they could not allow UOX or SOX to be sold at any prepaid shop at shopping malls.. this is to prevent abuse or false registration. so they need to appoint special dealer that they could trust.
