QUOTE(ham_revilo @ Feb 28 2009, 02:10 PM) it depends. if your fan orientation in the casing doesnt help the airflow, putting a performance fan like delta wouldnt help your temp also. I think the only way to test if there is a significant different is by opening your side panel making it half naked. usually when your casing is half naked, it improves the air flow a lil. so from there you could make your comparison. but if u can stand the noise, i think there is no reason why u shouldnt get those delta fans from my experience, opening my elite 330 casing will significantly reduce the all systems temp.my e8400 stock voltage, from 55C idle down to 48-50C idle. =.="

Hey guys. I'm in a dilemma now. Currently I'm using Sunbeam Core-Contact Freezer for almost 2 years. Now my Q9550 temps are getting too high for my comfort, highest 86C in one core at 3.45GHz in Prime95 I haven't reapply the TIM since I first use it, plus somebody in my house had thrown it away. I also notice that the fan speed is down to 1600RPM instead of max 2000RPM. So, I'm thinking, >> do I need to buy a better cooler than CCF (budget RM150) or, >> do I just have go buy good TIM and/or new performance fan? P.S. - I've been reading reviews especially CCF and CM Hyper 212+. All results were mixed lol. Some shows CCF better, some shows CM better. This post has been edited by efilah: Aug 7 2011, 01:21 PM

QUOTE(flexus90 @ Aug 7 2011, 05:16 PM) Here the list Mugen 2, Ninja 3, Venomous X, CM V6 GT, Noctua NH-D14 Problem is... all of the coolers are well above my budget of RM150.
