Can someone tell me whether the white N79 looks good with its silver edge and side panels (which are grey)? Do the colors match?

I am using a grey N79, at first its look didn't stand out (i.e. too pale, like almost featureless), but it grows on you after a while, and I can say I like it now. But, I may consider buying another set in white (for whatever reason) if it is as beautiful as it looks in the catalog.

A few interesting issues with the phone. When the keypad light is on, you may find it hard to read the markings under certain bright conditions. It sounds silly but it happens, this is when the surrounding light is not so strong and the grey background color of the keypad is not dark enough to make a good contrast for reading.

I experienced a self restart! And I can't recall how or what I pressed to caused it so. I was playing/learning with the GPS feature at that time. But this happened rarely, only once in my 3 weeks of using.

I have now tested almost every features of the phone, and yes they all work just fine, no complaint. Only the GPS may not be as perfect as the technology has hyped, I feel it's meant for tracking under open field (still fine for in-car use, but surely not for indoor uses). N79 is still the best in terms of strong features and fair pricing.

I haved played/tried more than half of the demo games on Ngage, but nothing too exciting about them, I could only recommend (i.e. activate with the free password) probably Tetris or Sim Pet. Anyone has a different opinion?

Added on November 25, 2008, 3:10 pmThe WLAN is also working, pretty fast too surfing the net.

As I saved more and more photos, the phone feels like slowing down, like hitcups (how to spell?). Sometimes, the auto-rotate will slow in response a little if continously taking pictures. They last about 2s on average. Digital zoom is not recommended as the quality of picture drop drastically as I checked on the images on the PC.

What's the latest price now? jssim and Renee are both trustable?

Added on November 25, 2008, 3:14 pmOh yes, the menu and the cancel keys require thumb tip pressing to accurately hit them, but it's not that difficult to do (my fingers are skinny by the way).

Hi yewz, me copying? no la, i was scanning the thread and try to answer ppl's queries as I go.

On the battery, yes it's very powerful, normal uses last about 3-4 days. I even tested to go offline (i.e. no simcard) with full battery charge, it has lasted me more than 1.5 weeks now, with some photo taking and light internet usage.

Someone asked about dropping the phone, I will say NEVER drop it, and I am not going to try that on my phone.

if u always take photos in the dark then 82 is better because of xenon, besides based on the reviews i read,n82 takes better pic than n79
but of course n79 also got alot of advantage mainly its FP2 smile.gif
